Abstract
Planning and scheduling is a common problem faced by every company as well as PT. Multi Tara is engaged in plastic packaging manufacturing. Requests that change on Trays items often experience late delivery. So it is necessary to do careful and effective planning for the company Demand forecasting is done to increase demand for the period July 2018 to June 2019 by looking at demand data for the past year. From the calculation results obtained that the production capacity at PT. Multi Tara is 31,500 pcs / month for large tray items. And the number of production results from forecasting for the next year is an average of 34,000 with the lowest sales forecasting that occurred in January amounting to 31,158 pcs and the highest sales forecasting amounting to 36.57 pcs which occurred in December. Overtime occurs in November 2018, March 2019, June 2019, and August 2019 with the total output overtime of each 7875 pcs per month. Keywords: Forecasting, Overtime, Planning, Scheduling. Perencanaan dan penjadwalan merupakan masalah umum yang dihadapi setiap perusahaan begitu juga dengan PT. Multi Tara yang bergerak dibidang manufacturing packaging plastik. Permintaan yang berubah ubah pada item Nampan sering kali mengalami keterlambatan pengiriman. Sehingga perlu dilakukan perencanaan yang matang dan tepat guna bagi perusahaan Peramalan permintaan dilakukan untuk meramalakan permintaan periode Juli 2018 hingga Juni 2019 dengan melihat data permintaan satu tahun terakhir. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat bahwa kapasitas produksi di PT. Multi Tara yaitu 31.500 pcs / bulan untuk item nampan besar. Dan jumlah produksi hasil dari peramalan selama satu tahun kedepan adalah rata – rata sebesar 34.000 dengan peramalan penjualan terendah yang terjadi dibulan januari sebesar31.158 pcs dan peramalan penjualan tertinggi sebesar 36.57 pcs yang terjadi pada bulan desember. Overtime terjadi pada bulan November 2018, Maret 2019, Juni 2019, dan Agustus 2019 dengan jumlah output overtime masing – masing 7875 pcs per bulan.
