Abstract

Work on tofu industry MSMEs, especially at the tofu cutting workplace, is carried out with a standing posture with long repetitive bending. This risks creating musculoskeletal disorders and discomfort at work. This study attempts to study the work sequence and ergonomic aspects that affect the work posture of the cutting work station by using the simulation method in the virtual environment. Adjustments are made to the height of the work table and tools for reducing repetitive time to get the ideal optimal configuration for workers. Assessment of work posture is done by evaluating the Posture Evaluation Index (PEI) for each work configuration. The PEI will integrate the results of the RULA, OWAS, and LBA assessments from the task analysis toolkit found in Jack 8.01 software into an assessment score that can provide an overview of the existing work station conditions. The results of this study resulted in the design of the work place concept with a tool in the form of a digital prototype that can be used as consideration in designing the physical shape of work place that are in accordance with ergonomic aspects. Keywords: Ergonomics, Virtual Environment, Tofu Cutting Workplace, Posture Evaluation Index (PEI) Pekerjaan pada UMKM industri tahu khususnya pada stasiun pemotongan tahu dilakukan dengan postur tubuh berdiri dengan membungkuk bersifat repetitif dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Hal ini berisiko menimbulkan gangguan muskuloskeletal dan ketidaknyamanan dalam bekerja. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mempelajari rangkaian kerja dan aspek ergonomi yang mempengaruhi postur pekerja pada stasiun kerja pemotongan tahu tersebut dengan menggunakan metode simulasi pada lingkungan virtual. Penyesuaian dilakukan terhadap ketinggian meja kerja dan alat bantu pengurangan waktu repetitif untuk mendapatkan konfigurasi optimal yang ideal bagi pekerja. Penilaian postur kerja dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi Postur Evaluation Index (PEI) untuk masing-masing konfigurasi kerja. PEI tersebut akan mengintegrasikan hasil penilaian RULA, OWAS, dan LBA dari task analysis toolkit yang terdapat pada sofware Jack 8.01 ke dalam suatu skor penilaian yang dapat memberikan gambaran kondisi stasiun kerja yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan rancangan konsep stasiun kerja dengan alat bantu dalam bentuk prototipe digital yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam mendesain bentuk fisik stasiun kerja yang sesuai dengan aspek-aspek ergonomi.
