Abstract

The purpose of the study entitled "Automation System On / Off Lighting and Arduino Uno-Based Air Conditioning with a Human Machine Interface" is to simplify the operation of lights and air conditioners. In most multi-storeyed buildings and shopping centers, the utilisation from the people because of the auto and manual operation-system is being done in one place, which can also be used as an additional point other than the BAS (Building Automation System) point, which needs to involve third-party vendors, just to adding more points to the BAS system. The method of this study is the production of an Automation System On / Off Lighting and Arduino Uno-Based Air Conditioning with a Human Machine Interface. The production steps begin to make the overall concept for the hardware & software designs, requirements analysis, identifying the tools & materials needed, operating-trial & testing. The design of hardware consists of a power supply, Arduino Uno, relay drivers, and a computer (PC). The software design for this project is HMI which can be made using the Visual Basic. This system usually used to control the lights and the air-cooling system in one place. The process is to set an automatic-schedule on the HMI system, or by clicking the On/Off button on the desired floors. If the 'On' command is being activated, the room-lights and air-cooler in the room should be changed to the color of red, and vice versa, it should be turning green if the 'Off' button is being activated. Based on the performance-testing on the “Automation System On/Off Lighting and Arduino Uno-Based Air Conditioning with a Human Machine Interface, the result has shown that it went according to the plan & the system worked well. On the other hand, this tool could also save more costs, if there are floors/areas which are not used, it could be just turned-off directly. Keywords: Automation System, Lights, Air-Conditioner, Arduino Uno, Human Machine Interface Tujuan pembuatan tugas akhir yang berjudul “Automation System On/Off Lighting dan Pendingin Ruangan Berbasis Arduino Uno dengan Human Machine Interface” adalah untuk mempermudah pengoperasian lampu dan pendingin ruangan. pada gedung bertingkat dan pusat perbelanjaan, penghematan dari sisi manusia karena pengoperasian secara auto dan manual dilakukan pada satu tempat, juga dapat digunakan sebagai penambahan point diluar point BAS (Building Automation System) yang perlu memanggil vendor jika ingin menambah point pada BAS. Metode yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah pembuatan Automation System On/Off Lighting dan Pendingin Ruangan Berbasis Arduino Uno dengan Human Machine Interface. Adapun langkah – langkah pembuatannya adalah membuat konsep rancangan perangkat keras, membuat konsep rancangan perangkat lunak, analisa kebutuhan, identifikasi alat dan bahan, serta pengoperasian dan pengujian. Perancangan perangkat keras terdiri dari power supply, arduino uno, relay driver, dan komputer. Perancangan perangkat lunak berupa desain HMI pada visual basic. Alat ini berfungsi untuk mengoperasikan lampu dan pendingin ruang dalam satu tempat. Proses pengoperasian ini dengan memberikan schedule pada HMI atau dengan mengklik On/Off pada lantai yang di inginkan. Lampu atau pendingin ruang akan berubah merah jika perintah on dihidupkan, dan akan berubah hijau jika perintah off dihidupkan. Berdasarkan pengujian unjuk kerja alat “Automation System On/Off Lighting dan Pendingin Ruangan Berbasis Arduino Uno dengan Human Machine Interface” telah menunjukan hasil yang sesuai dengan perencanaan dan dapat bekerja dengan baik. Dan dapat menghemat biaya pemakaian jika ada beberapa lantai yang tidak digunakan sehingga bisa langsung di off kan.
