Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of organizational commitment and job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of educational staff at the University of Mercu Buana. The research design used is quantitative and descriptive. The population of all permanent teaching staff at the University of Mercu Buana. The technique of taking sample proportional sampling with Slovin formula found 119 respondents as samples. Data analysis with multiple linear regression, and correlation analysis between dimensions with the help of SPSS version 23.0 for Windows. The results showed that organizational commitment and job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect jointly on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in the teaching staff of the University of Mercu Buana. Organizational commitment does not affect organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Further researchers are advised to add other variables that affect organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) that have not been used, such as leadership style, organizational climate and compensation with different research objects. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) tenaga kependidikan Universitas Mercu Buana. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Populasi seluruh tenaga tetap kependidikan Universitas Mercu Buana. Teknik pengambilan sample proposional sampling dengan rumus slovin ditemukan 119 responden sebagai sample. Analisis data dengan regresi linier berganda, dan analisis korelasi antar dimensi dengan bantuan SPSS versi 23.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) pada tenaga kependidikan Universitas Mercu Buana. Komitmen organisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB). Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB). Peneliti selanjutnya disarankan untuk menambahkan variabel lain yang mempengaruhi organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) yang belum digunakan, seperti gaya kepemimpinan, iklim organisasi dan kompensasi dengan objek penelitian yang berbeda.
