Abstract

Approach light is one of the mandatory landing instrument that means that the device must be installed at an airport. Base on the development of technology and information today has become a necessity for society and industry. One of the implementations is to make an based on Iot approach light monitoring system to monitor each approach light lamp so as to speed up the repair and maintenance time for airport technicians. In order for the workforce to run effectively, one way is to use smartphones as a monitoring tool to accelerate coordination time while in the field. In designing an IoT-based approach light monitoring system prototype using a light sensor as the reader condition of each lamp. This device system consists of a smartphone with an Android operating system as an interface between humans and system, ESP 32 modules that are connected to wifi connected to the internet. This monitoring system can monitor each approach lamp on the ground based on light intensity, the condition of the lights that can be monitored is the condition of the lights on (on ) with light intensity of 3000 lux, the lights are dimmed with light intensity 1230 lux, the lights are problem (off) with light intensity 1 lux, and the operating conditions of approach lamp. Approach light merupakan salah satu alat bantu pendaratan pesawat yang bersifat mandatory yang artinya bahwa alat tersebut harus terpasang pada suatu bandar udara. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi dan informasi sekarang ini sudah menjadi kebutuhan bagi masyarakat dan industri. Salah satu implementasinya yaitu membuat sistem monitoring approach light berbasis Iot untuk memonitor setiap lampu approach light sehingga mempercepat waktu perbaikan dan maintenance peralatan bagi para teknisi bandar udara . Supaya perkerjan dapat berjalan dengan efektif maka salah satu cara adalah menggunakan smartphone sebagai alat monitoring supaya mempercepat waktu koordinasi saat berada di lapangan. Pada perancangan prototype sistem monitoring approach light berbasis IOT menggunakan sensor cahaya sebagai pembaca masing – masing lampu. Sistem perangkat ini terdiri dari smartphone dengan sistem operasi android sebagai interface antara manusia dan sistem, modul ESP 32 yang terhubung dengan wifi yang terkoneksi dengan internet. Sistem monitoring ini dapat memantau masing – masing lampu approach light di landasan berdasarkan intensitas cahaya lampu, kondisi lampu yang dapat terpantau yaitu kondisi lampu menyala (on) dengan intensitas cahaya 3000 lux, kondisi lampu menyala redup dengan intensitas cahaya 1230 lux, kondisi lampu bermasalah (off) dengan intensitas cahaya 1 lux, dan kondisi operasional lampu approach light.
