Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the current ratio, net profit margin, return on assets, debt to equity ratio, and total asset turnover to profit for the next year. The objects of this study are financial reports and annual reports from the telecommunications sub-sector companies that were published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the Malaysia Stock Exchange (MYX) during the period 2010-2017. The sample used in this study amounted to 84 sample data taken using purposive sampling method, namely by determining certain criteria. Data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression models. the results of the study indicate that ROA MYX has a positive and significant effect on earnings predictions for the next year. NPM MYX, DER MYX, and TAT MYX have a significant negative effect on earnings predictions for the next year. Keywords : Current Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Return on Asset, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, Earning Prediction Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh current ratio, net profit margin, return on asset, debt to equity ratio, dan total asset turnover terhadap laba satu tahun kedepan. objek dari penelitian ini adalah laporan keuangan dan laporan tahunan dari perusahaan sub sektor telekomunikasi yang di publikasikan di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan Bursa Efek Malaysia (MYX) selama periode 2010-2017. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 84 data sampel yang diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling, yaitu dengan menentukan kriteria tertentu. analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model regresi linear berganda. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ROA MYX berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prediksi laba satu tahun kedepan. NPM MYX, DER MYX, dan TAT MYX berpengaruh negatif secara signifikan terhadap prediksi laba satu tahun kedepan.
