Abstract

Cases of kidnapping are increasingly prevalent in minors. There are many factors. This abduction can occur which is triggered by the level of one's economic difficulties so that everyone tries in all ways both lawful and against the law to get money even though it must harm others, especially kidnapping an underage child. To minimize the occurrence of kidnapping, the writer made a tool, namely "student attendance monitoring system using WEB and SMS-based RFID" so parents can participate in monitoring when their children are present and coming home from school. This study includes designing, manufacturing, and testing the tools carried out with inputs in the form of RFID Tags and control systems using Arduino Uno. The way this tool works is when RFID tags are brought close to the RFID reader on the attendance device then the results of reading student data are sent by Arduino Uno via the GSM800L module to the school's academic server and the parents' cellphone. Based on the testing that has been done, the tool can work well. Attendance system is able to read RFID tags to the maximum. Keywords: RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), Arduino Uno, GSM800L Module, Attendance System Kasus Penculikan kian marak terjadi pada anak-anak di bawah umur. Ada banyak faktor Penculikan ini dapat terjadi yaitu dipicu oleh tingkat kesulitan ekonomi seseorang sehingga setiap orang berusaha dengan segala cara baik halal maupun menentang hukum untuk mendapatkan uang walaupun harus merugikan orang lain khususnya penculikan pada anak dibawah umur. Untuk meminimalisir terjadinya penculikan tersebut penulis membuat suatu alat yaitu “sistem monitoring absensi siswa/i menggunakan RFID berbasis WEB dan SMS” agar orang tua bisa ikut memonitor ketika anaknya hadir dan pulang sekolah.Penelitian ini meliputi perancangan, pembuatan, dan pengujian alat yang dilakukan dengan input berupa RFID Tag dansistem kendali menggunakan arduino uno. Cara kerja alat ini adalah ketika RFID tag didekatkan dengan RFID reader yang ada pada alat absensi kemudian hasil dari pembacaan data siswa/i dikirim oleh arduino uno melalui modul GSM800L ke server akademik sekolah dan handphone orang tua siswa/i tersebut. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, alat dapat bekerja dengan baik. Sistem absensi mampu membaca RFID tag dengan maksimal.
