Abstract

Energy is a basic human need that continues to increase in line with the level of life. In Indonesia, PLN is the main provider of national electricity in its procurement still relying on national policies that are more dependent on electricity generated from fossil fuels, and the most widely used fossil fuels are fuel oil (BBM). During this time the cultivation of oyster mushrooms is only limited to producing oyster mushrooms as processed food and vegetables, extensive cultivation locations, a large number of baglogs of oyster mushrooms as well as the preparation of mushroom growing media that facilitate maintenance, underlying researchers to utilize the presence of oyster mushroom cultivators to examine whether the media planting oyster mushrooms can produce electrical energy, as an effort to test alternative energy in small scale and environmentally friendly. The method for designing dc current electricity generators using oyster mushroom growing media (mushroom baglog) as Cell Battery starts from a literature study of soil and microbiology contained in it. Field studies are the second stage of research to obtain information in the form of test data and data on sample baglog media for oyster mushrooms. The third stage of this method is design and testing as a follow-up to the previous stages. From the results of Cell Battery tests of oyster mushroom growing media (mushroom baglog), baglog of oyster mushrooms can produce a voltage Every single cell baglog of oyster mushrooms has an average voltage of 0.84 V and current of 1.33 mA. The whole series of 100 celllogs of oyster mushrooms produce 4.53 volts of voltage and currents of 16.52 mA, and effectiveness of 46%. Cell baglog of oyster mushrooms can turn on the led lights for 3 months according to the productive period of the cultivation of oyster mushrooms. It can be concluded that Cell battery of oyster mushroom baglog can potentially be used as an alternative electrical energy specifically for the cultivation of oyster mushrooms with the use of a low load of electrical energy. Keywords: Cell batteries, mushroom baglogs, electricity, voltaic cells, microbiology, electrodes. Energi merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia yang terus meningkat sejalan dengan tingkat kehidupannya. Di Indonesia, PLN merupakan penyedia utama energi listrik nasional dalam pengadaannya masih bertumpu pada kebijakan nasional yang lebih bergantung pada energi listrik yang dihasilkan dari bahan bahan bakar fosil, dan bahan bakar fosil yang paling banyak digunakan adalah bahan bakar minyak (BBM). Selama ini budidaya jamur tiram hanya sebatas menghasilkan jamur tiram sebagai bahan olahan pangan dan sayuran ,lokasi pembudidayaan yang luas ,jumlah baglog jamur tiram yang banyak serta penyusunan media tanam jamur yang memudahkan untuk perawatan,mendasari peneliti untuk memanfaatkan keberadaan pembudidaya jamur tiram untuk meneliti apakah media tanam jamur tiram dapat menghasilkan energi listrik ,sebagai upaya pewujutan energi alternatif berskala kecil dan ramah lingkungan. Metode pada perancangan penghasil listrik arus dc dengan memanfaatkan media tanam jamur tiram (baglog jamur) sebagai Cell Baterai dimulai dari studi literature mengenai tanah dan mikrobiologi yang terkandung di dalamnya. Studi lapangan merupakan tahap kedua penelitian guna mendapatkan informasi berupa data pengujian dan data sampel media tanam baglog jamur tiram. Tahap ketiga dari metode ini adalah perancangan dan pengujian sebagai tindak lanjut dari tahapan sebelumnya. Dari hasil pengujian Cell Baterai media tanam jamur tiram (baglog jamur), baglog jamur tiram dapat menghasilkan tegangan Setiap satu Cell baterai baglog jamur tiram rata-rata tegangan 0,84 V dan arus 1,33 mA. Keseluruhan rangkaian sebanyak 100 cell baglog jamur tiram menghasilkan tegangan 4,53 volt dan arus 16,52 mA ,serta efektivitas sebesar 46%. Cell baterai baglog jamur tiram dapat menghidupkan lampu led selama 3 bulan sesuai dengan masa produktif budidaya jamur tiram. Dapat disimpulkan Cell baterai baglog jamur tiram berpotensi dapat digunakan sebagai alternative energi listrik kusus untuk kumbung budidaya jamur tiram dengan pemakaian beban energy listrik yang rendah.
