Abstract

Lighting is one of the important factors in designing a space. A good school should be designed so that it can improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Class lighting standards in Indonesia are 350 lux. A good level of lighting can be achieved by utilizing natural and artificial lighting. This study examines the optimization of natural lighting and artificial classrooms at SMK Bhakti Insani, Bogor City. This research takes 3 sample classes that have different problems. The study was conducted with a quantitative approach, the method used was experimental in the form of measuring the intensity of light using lux meters and then calculated the average intensity of light in each point needed for three days. The measurement results show that the existing natural lighting has not reached 350 lux. In this study, lighting simulation was carried out using the Dialux Evo 8.0 software to improve indoor lighting and optimization to achieve optimum lighting. The results showed that class X TKJ requires natural and artificial light from morning to evening, Class XII MM in the morning until noon natural lighting meets the standards. But at 3:00 p.m. because the sun has started to dim so it requires artificial lighting, namely by turning on the lights only in zone B 2 (two) type lights (PHILIPS TMX400 2xTL5-54W HFP + GMX555 MB + GGX555 C6, Class XII PM in the morning requires natural and artificial lighting by turning on the lights only in zone B as many as 2 (two) type light points (PHILIPS TMX400 2xTL5-54W HFP + GMX555 MB + GGX555 C6), during the day because natural lighting has met the standard with enough natural lighting. in the afternoon the sun has begun to fade so that it requires natural and artificial lighting by turning on the lights only in zone B as many as 2 (two) lights. Keyword: Optimization, natural lighting, artificial lighting, classrooms Pencahayaan merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam perancangan sebuah ruang. Sekolah yang baik seharusnya didesain sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektifitas proses belajar mengajar. Standar pencahayaan ruang kelas di Indonesia adalah 350 lux.Tingkat pencahayaan yang baik dapat dicapai dengan pemanfaatan pencahayaan alami dan buatan. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Optimalisasi pencahayaan alami dan buatan ruang kelas SMK Bhakti Insani Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini mengambil 3 sample kelas yang memiliki permasalahan yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode yang di gunakan adalah eksperimental berupa pengukuran intensitas cahaya menggunakan lux meter lalu dihitung rata-rata intensitas cahayanya disetiap titik yang di butuhkan selama tiga hari. Hasil pengukuran tersebut menunjukan bahwa pencahayaan alami yang ada saat ini belum mencapai 350 lux.Pada penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi pencahayaan menggunakan software Dialux Evo 8.0 untuk memperbaiki pencahayaan dalam ruang dan optimalisasi untuk mencapai pencahayaan yang optimum. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan kelas X TKJ memerlukan cahaya alami dan buatan dari pagi hari hingga sore hari, Kelas XII MM pada pagi sampai siang hari pencahayaan alami sudah memenuhi standar. Namun pada pukul 15.00 karena matahari sudah mulai redup sehingga membutuhkan pencahayaan buatan yaitu dengan menyalakan lampu hanya di zona B sebanyak 2 (dua) titik lampu type (PHILIPS TMX400 2xTL5-54W HFP +GMX555 MB +GGX555 C6, Kelas XII PM pada pagi hari membutuhkan pencahayaan alami dan buatan dengan menyalakan lampu hanya di zona B sebanyak 2 (dua) titik lampu type (PHILIPS TMX400 2xTL5-54W HFP +GMX555 MB +GGX555 C6), siang hari karena pencahyaan alami sudah memenuhi standar jadi cukup dengan pencahayaan alami saja. Dan sore hari matahari sudah mulai meredup sehingga membutuhkan pencahayaan alami dan buatan dengan menyalakan lampu hanya di zona B sebanyak 2 (dua) titik lampu.
