Abstract

Bernoulli's Law Theorem can be applied to many devices such as venturi tubes in aoutomotive carburetors, venturimeters, pitot tubes, chimneys and aircraft wings. This study aims to test the diameter due to the difference in pressure at the nozzle. This research was carried out by experiments using a series of fluid flows. With nozzle diameters varying 9 mm and 12 mm. The fluid flow rate varies depending on the valve opening arrangement with valve angle openings 45°, 55° 60°, 75° 90°, with RPM rotation 142, 198, 230, 332, 325, 317, 327, 493, 574. Measurements are made at shaft rotation point with a tachometer to determine the RPM rotation, while the volume flow rate is measured by a stopwatch. Research shows that diameter is very influential because of changes in pressure. then to get the results at 75 ° valve openings and 322 RPM rounds the flowrate obtained is = 0.32 x and the valve openings are 90° with 574 RPM rotation the highest, the resulting water discharge is 0.46 x with the electric power produced with nozzles 9 and 12 with 96 Watts and 15.6 Watts respectively. Teorema Hukum Bernoulli dapat diterapkan ke banyak perangkat seperti tabung venturi di karburator aoutomotive, venturimeter, tabung pitot, cerobong asap dan sayap pesawat terbang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengujian diameter akibat perbedaan tekanan pada nozzle . Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan eksperimen menggunakan rangkaian aliran fluida. Dengan diameter nozzle bervariasi 9 mm dan 12 mm. Laju aliran fluida bervariasi tergangtung pada pengaturan pembukaan katup dengan bukaan katup sudut 45 , 55 60 , 75 90 , dengan putaran RPM 142, 198, 230, 332, 325, 317, 327, 493, 574. Pengukuran dilakukan pada titik putaran poros dengan alat tachometer untuk mengetahui putaran RPM, sedangkan Tingkat aliran volume diukur dengan stopwatch. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diameter sangat berpengaruh karena perubahan tekanan. maka untuk mendapatkan hasil pada bukaan katup 75 dan putaran RPM 322 debit aliran yang didapatkan = 0,32 x dan bukaan katup 90 dengan putaran 574 RPM tertinggi, debit air yang dihasilkan 0,46 x dengan daya listrik yang dihasilkan dengan nozzle 9 dan 12 dengan masing – masing 96 Watt dan 15,6 Watt.
