Abstract
This research was conducted to develop packaging products for bucket rice specifically for food which have more effective, efficient and ergonomic packaging properties in the hope of meeting the needs and desires of customers (food producers) and consumers (consuming foods with bucket rice packaging models). Based on these problems, the design and development of bucket rice packaging products with the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method consists of four stages, namely: (1) product planning (HOQ), (2) design of design (Design Deployment), (3) planning process (Process Planning), and (4) production planning (Production Planning). Data collection from 40 respondents obtained from consumers in the Banten area and Jakarta. The results of the analysis are known in the development of packaging products that need to be considered in the preparation of phase 1 QFD to meet customer requirements which are translated into technical responses with priority in engineering design (weight value 465). Preparation of QFD stage 2 to fulfill the technical requirements that are translated into planning the priority parts obtained at (Marketting Section) follow-up the customer request and fixed formula packaging cost process (weight value 413.2). Preparation of QFD stage 3 to fulfill the requirements of the part translated to the process characteristics is obtained priority at the (QC Section) examination of the feasibility of all pre-production materials (weight value 465.4). The preparation of stage 4 QFD to fulfill the process requirements which are translated into production requirements is given priority on the (QC Section) manufacturing operations inspection (weight value 561.4). Therefore, the company in the object of research should pay attention to the priority in developing packaging products. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk pengembangan produk kemasan model bucket rice khusus makanan yang lebih memiliki sifat kemasan yang efektif, efisien, dan ergonomis dengan harapan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan kustomer (produsen makanan) serta konsumer (pengonsumsi makanan dengan kemasan model bucket rice). Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dilakukan perancangan dan pengembangan produk kemasan bucket rice dengan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD), terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: (1) perencanaan produk (HOQ), (2) perancangan desain (Design Deployment), (3) perencanaan proses (Process Planning), dan (4) perencanaan produksi (Production Planning). Pengumpulan data dari 40 responden yang didapat dari konsumer di daerah Banten dan Jakarta. Hasil analisa diketahui dalam pengembangan produk kemasan yang perlu diperhatikan dalam penyusunan QFD tahap 1 untuk memenuhi persyaratan kustomer yang diterjemahkan ke respon teknis didapatkan prioritas pada desain teknik (nilai bobot 465). Penyusunan QFD tahap 2 untuk memenuhi persyaratan teknik yang diterjemahkan ke perencanaan bagian didapatkan prioritas pada (Marketting Section) follow up process request customer and fixed formula packaging cost (nilai bobot 413,2). Penyusunan QFD tahap 3 untuk memenuhi persyaratan bagian yang diterjemahkan ke karakteristik proses didapatkan prioritas pada (QC Section) pemeriksaan kelayakan semua materials pre produksi (nilai bobot 465,4). Penyusunan QFD tahap 4 untuk memenuhi persyaratan proses yang diterjemahkan ke persyaratan produksi didapatkan prioritas pada (QC Section) Inspeksi operasional manufaktur (nilai bobot 561,4). Maka dari itu, pihak perusahaan dalam objek penelitian seharusnya memperhatikan prioritas dalam pengembangan produk kemasan.
