Abstract

The GMF AeroAsia aircraft repair and maintenance company in the Engine Maintenance department experienced problems during the AOS disassembly process which resulted in damage to 5 pieces with a total loss of $ 30,360.35 or Rp. 405,508,014.8. Therefore this study will be tried to help improve the quality of AOS disassembly using the PDCA and FMEA approach in the hope of finding out the causes of AOS Condemned using fishbone diagrams and providing suggested improvements so that zero defects can be achieved. The use of fishbone diagrams produces data on the causes of damage known to be 4, namely there is no special SOP to open AOS, tools are not proportional, abrasive wear, and the use of tools is not standard. By using FMEA, the biggest RPN (Risk Priority Number) value is found in the use of non-standard tools with an RPN value of 648, resulting in damage to the AOS when the disassembly process is carried out. From the results of data processing, it was concluded that with the PDCA and FMEA approach this resulted in proposed process improvement in the form of a special tool to reduce the number of AOS during the disassembly process. Keywords: PDCA, FMEA, Histogram, Fishbone Perusahaan perbaikan dan perawatan pesawat terbang GMF AeroAsia pada departemen Engine Maintenance mengalami permasalahan saat proses pembongkaran AOS yang menghasilkan kerusakan sebanyak 5 buah dengan total kerugian $30.360,35 atau sebesar Rp. 405.508.014,8. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini akan dicoba untuk membantu memperbaiki kualitas pembongkaran AOS dengan pendekatan PDCA dan FMEA dengan harapan dapat mengetahui penyebab AOS Condemned menggunakan fishbone diagram dan memberikan usulan perbaikan agar zero defect dapat tercapai. Penggunaan fishbone diagram menghasilkan data penyebab kerusakan diketahui ada 4, yaitu tidak ada SOP khusus membuka AOS, tool tidak proporsional, abrasive wear, dan penggunaan tool tidak standar. Dengan menggunakan FMEA diketahui nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) terbesar terdapat pada penggunaan tool tidak standar dengan nilai RPN sebesar 648, sehingga mengakibatkan kerusakan pada AOS saat proses pembongkaran dilakukan. Dari hasil pengolahan data disimpulkan bahwa dengan pendekatan PDCA dan FMEA ini menghasilkan usulan perbaikan proses berupa special tool untuk upaya mengurangi jumlah AOS pada saat proses pembongkaran.
