Abstract
Bintaro Area, South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia is a residential area that is one of the largest residential areas in South Tangerang. Housing discovery of one of them. In its function, open space is a place of activity and a place to gather or exercise. At present the open space on residential Discovery Serenity is very quiet visited or very quiet users. This phenomenon raises the question why this can happen. In the construction of the layout and dimensions of open space is quite good, it becomes a reference regarding the level of comfort of visitors. This study uses quantitative methods. The research variables used were Layout and Dimensions in Open Space. The observation shows that the layout and dimensions of this open space are considered quite good. The Quizer's results show that the average visitor feels comfortable. The results of this study indicate that the garden on residential discovery serenity has a good level of comfort based on the layout and dimensions of the open space itself. Keyword: Open space, layout, dimensions, comfort Kawasan Bintaro, Tangerang Selatan, Banten, Indonesia merupakan Kawasan perumahan yang menjadi salah satu Kawasan perumahan terbesar di Tangerang selatan. Perumahan discovery salah satunya. Dalam fungsinya ruang terbuka sebagai tempat beraktifitas dan menjadi tempat berkumpul ataupun berolahraga. Saat ini ruang terbuka pada perumahan Discovery Serenity sangat sepi dikunjungi atau sangat sepi pengguna. Fenomena ini menimbulkan pertanyaan kenapa hal tersebut bias terjadi. Dalam pembangunannya tata letak dan dimensi ruang terbuka cukup baik, hal tersebut menjadi acuan mengenai tingkat kenyamanan pengunjung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Tata Letak dan Dimensi pada Ruang terbuka. Hasil observasi menunjukkan tata letak dan dimensi ruang terbuka ini dinilai cukup baik. Hasil Kuisoner menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pengunjung merasa nyaman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa taman pada perumahan discovery serenity memiliki tingkat kenyamanan yang baik berdasarkan tata letak dan dimensi ruang terbuka itu sendiri.
