Abstract

At present electrical energy is energy that is needed by humans, especially with the development of technology accompanied by an increase in electricity consumption, but unfortunately this energy has limited resources. Therefore, it is necessary to do austerity measures in the use of electricity, one way is to reduce the electrical energy used for lighting. The use of different types of lights such as LED, Incandescent, CFL and TL with power that is much different but the lumen which is almost the same effect on the energy used. LED lamps are a type of lamp that is claimed to be more energy efficient than other types of lamps. Therefore testing of lighting from incandescent lamps, energy saving lamps (LHE), TL lamps and LED lights is conducted to find the type of lamp which has the best chance of saving electricity. From the results of testing and simulation, the results obtained that 1 watt of LED lights will be equivalent to 1.81 watts of LHE lights, 2.01 watts of TL lamps, and 12.47 watts of incandescent lamps. But on the other side the LED lamps have a THD% which is quite high when compared to other types of lights which are 132,042, the value of% THDi which is quite high can cause damage to the electric power system, damage to the compensator capacitor, reduce the power factor value, heat equipment, age use reduced equipment and signal interference (such as noise on the telephone line). Keywords : LED, CFL, Incandescent, TL Lamps, Harmonic Saat ini energi listrik adalah energi yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh manusia, terlebih lagi dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi diiringi pula dengan peningkatan konsumsi energi listrik, namun sayangnya energi ini memiliki keterbatasan sumber daya. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan langkah penghematan dalam penggunaan energi listrik ini, salah satu caranya adalah dengan cara mengurangi energi listrik yang dipakai untuk penerangan. Penggunaan jenis lampu yang berbeda seperti LED, PIJAR, LHE dan TL dengan daya yang jauh berbeda tetapi lumen yang hampir sama besarnya berpengaruh pada energi yang terpakai. Lampu LED adalah jenis lampu yang diklaim lebih hemat energi daripada jenis lampu lainnya. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pengujian lampu penerangan dari lampu pijar, lampu hemat energi (LHE), lampu TL, dan lampu LED untuk menemukan jenis lampu yang manakah yang mempunyai peluang penghematan energi listrik paling baik. Dari hasil pengujian dan simulasi, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa 1 watt lampu LED akan setara dengan 1.81 watt lampu LHE, 2.01 watt lampu TL, dan 12.47 watt lampu pijar. Namun disisi lain lampu LED memiliki %THDi yang cukup tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan jenis lampu lain yaitu 132.042, nilai %THDi yang cukup tinggi ini dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan pada sistem tenaga listrik, kerusakan pada kapasitor kompensator, menurunkan nilai faktor daya, peralatan menjadi panas, umur pakai peralatan berkurang serta interferensi sinyal (seperti noise pada saluran telepon).
