Abstract

This aim of this research is too see the relationship of parenting style and child wellbeing, in particular for preschool. This research used quantitative approach. The subjects are 204 parents who has children age 4-6 years. for sampling, researcher used simple random sampling. The data were collected through a questionnaire of which is validity and reliability had been assessed. The data were analyzed by correlation test chi-square. The result of the study showed that there is not relationship significantly on parenting style and child well-being of preschool. It’s seems by score r (0.938), Asymp.Sig > 0,05. Keywords: parenting style, child well-being, early childhood 4-6 years. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melihat hubungan gaya pengasuhan dan well-being anak, khususnya anak prasekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 4-6 tahun sebanyak 204 orang. untuk pengambilan sampel, peneliti menggunakan simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang sudah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis uji korelasi chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan secara signifikan pada gaya pengasuhan dan well-being anak prasekolah. Hal ini terlihat dari skor sebesar r (0.938), Asymp.Sig > 0,05. Kata kunci: gaya pengasuhan, well-being anak, dan anak prasekolah 4-6 tahun.
