Abstract
The building of culture and art centre in West Java is one of the public rooms are able to accommodate and meet the cultural and art activities in West Java. Concepts of local tradition in Sundanese, such as silihasah, silihasuh, silihasih is an important cornerstone in developing the idea of the melatarbelakanginya. The values that are reflected in the base of the countries Pancasila, the national motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, democracy, Mutual, is the lofty values of the nation which Indonesia also must always be heeded. The embodiment of cutting-edge ideas should also be supported with the development aspects of sustainability. Three important aspects in the issue of sustainability is an economic, social, and environment (ecology, etc.). The basic design concepts of the building of culture and Art Center is with the concept of Vernacular Neo and iconic design that meets and is able to accommodate the cultural and art activities in West Java, to accomodate all activities whether it be the creativity of the community in the form of cultural and art activities that are both traditional and contemporary, to get a basic concept design that complies with the standards of the building as well as providing adequate facilities and hosts arts and culture activities in West Java with shows a fusion of cultural values, but also do not forget to implement green architecture in sustainable architecture implementation i.e. environmentally friendly architecture. Green architecture concept is very closely related to environmental awareness and save energy. Keywords: Center for arts and Culture , Vernacular Architecture Of Neo , Green Architecture, circulation, acoustic and lighting Gedung pusat seni dan kebudayaan Jawa Barat merupakan salah satu ruang publik yang mampu menampung dan memenuhi kegiatan seni dan kebudayaan di jawa barat. Konsepkonsep local dalam tradisi Sunda, seperti silihasah, silihasuh, silihasih merupakan landasan penting dalam mengembangkan gagasan yang melatarbelakanginya. Nilai-nilai yang tercermin di dalam Dasar Negara-Pancasila, semboyan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, Demokrasi, Gotong Royong, merupakan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa Indonesia yang juga harus selalu diperhatikan. Perwujudan gagasan mutakhir juga harus didukung pula dengan aspek pengembangan keberlanjutan. Tiga aspek penting dalam isu keberlanjutan adalah ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan (ekologi, dsb). Dasar konsep perancangan bangunan Gedung Pusat Seni dan Kebudayaan ini adalah dengan konsep Neo Vernakular dan desain iconic yang memenuhi dan mampu menampung kegiatan seni dan kebudayaan di Jawa Barat, Untuk mewadahi segala kegiatan baik itu berupa kreativitas masyarakat berupa seni budaya dan kegiatan yang bersifat tradisional maupun kontemporer, Untuk mendapatkan suatu konsep dasar desain yang sesuai dengan standar bangunan serta menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai dan mewadahi kegiatan kesenian dan budaya jawa barat dengan menunjukkan perpaduan nilai-nilai budaya jawa barat, namun juga tidak lupa menerapkan arsitektur hijau dalam penerapan arsitektur yang berkelanjutan yaitu arsitektur yang ramah lingkungan. Konsep arsitektur hijau sangat erat hubungannya dengan kesadaran lingkungan dan hemat energy.
