Abstract

The growing number of telecommunication technology users could be the cause of the declining quality of service. This makes the operator must maintain network performance by way of drive test and optimize the network routinely. Analysis of data to determine the level of strength and quality of signals from each operator in order to provide comfort and satisfaction for customers in communicating. Therefore, 4G network operators compete to provide excellent networks and services. In this research, Telkomsel operates 4G network data analysis in Bali area in April 2018 with Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) parameter which is a specific parameter in 4G drivetest which is used to detect signal strength, and SINR (Signal to Noise Ratio) parameters used to find out the signal quality. RSRP is good if the magnitude of signal received on MS is above -90 dBm. While SINR is good value if sound quality is in a dedicated state or call with range 5 dB s.d 20 dB. Keywords: 4G, RSRP, SINR, Noise, Drivetest. Jumlah pengguna teknologi telekomunikasi yang bertambah bisa menjadi penyebab menurunnya kualitas layanan. Hal ini membuat operator harus menjaga kinerja jaringan dengan cara drive test dan mengoptimasi jaringan secara rutin. Analisis data untuk mengetahui tingkat dari kekuatan dan kulitas sinyal dari masing- masing operator agar dapat memberikan kenyamanan dan kepuasan bagi pelanggan didalam berkomunikasi. Oleh sebab itu, para operator jaringan 4G bersaing untuk menyediakan jaringan dan layanan yang prima. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan analisa data jaringan 4G operator Telkomsel di daerah Bali pada bulan April 2018 dengan parameter pembanding yaitu RSRP (Reference Signal Received Power) yaitu sebuah parameter yang spesifik pada drivetest 4G yang digunakan untuk mengetauhi kekuatan sinyal, dan SINR (Signal to Noise Ratio) parameter yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kualitas sinyal. RSRP bernilai baik jika besarnya sinyal yang diterima pada MS bernilai di atas - 90 dBm. Sedangkan SINR bernilai baik jika kualitas suara dalam keadaan dedicated atau menelepon dengan rentang 5 dB s.d 20 dB. Kata kunci: 4G, RSRP, SINR, Noise, Drivetest.
