Abstract

Nitrate sensors are widely applied in agriculture, fishery, food and health. In this study the nitrate sensor was developed with screen printed electrode using membrane copolymer tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate (pTHFA) with 2-Hidroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) with a ratio of 9:1 as a membrane on the surface of the electrode prepared by the polymer photo technique. Tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate (pTHFA) with 2-Hidroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) membrane polymerized on a chlorinated Ag /AgCl layer which is chlorinated and obtained nernst slope test value of -52,86 mV/decade. Optimization test results of variation of tetraoctyl ammonium nitrate (TOAN) composition in the manufacture of membrane coating of copolymer Tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate (pTHFA) with 2-Hidroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) showed the optimum result on TOAN composition as much as 4.2 mg with nernst slope test value -54,071 mV/decade and linear region 10ˉ¹ - 10ˉ⁴. The result of selectivity test on the disturbing ion shows the value of each for chlor (Clˉ) amount to -1,608, iodate ( ˉ) amount to 0,302, dihydrogen phosphate(H₂ ˉ) amount to -2,304, hydrogen phosphate (H ²ˉ) amount to -2,878, acetate ( COOˉ) amount to -1,822, and thiosulfat ( ˉ) amount to -1,814. Validity test results show some differences in possible values due to disturbance of disturbing ions. Dalam penelitian ini sensor nitrat dikembangkan dengan elektroda screen-printed menggunakan membran kopolimer tetrahidrofurfuril akrilat (pTHFA) dengan 2-Hidroxyethyl methakrilat (HEMA) dengan perbandingan 9:1 sebagai membran pada permukaan elektroda yang dipreparasi dengan teknik foto polimer. Membran pTHFA-HEMA dipolimerisasi diatas lapisan Ag/AgCl yang telah terklorinasi dan didapat nilai uji Nernst slope sebesar -52,86 mV/dekade. Hasil uji optimasi variasi komposisi tetraoktilamonium nitrat (TOAN) dalam pembuatan lapisan membran kopolimer poli tetrahidrofurfuril akrilat (pTHFA) dengan 2-Hidroxyethyl methakrilat (HEMA) menunjukkan hasil optimum pada komposisi TOAN sebanyak 4,2 mg dengan nilai uji Nernst slope -54,071 dan daerah linier - . Hasil uji selektivitas pada ion pengganggu menunjukan nilai masing-masing untuk klor (Clˉ) sebesar -1,608, Iodat ( ˉ) sebesar 0,302, dihidrogen fosfat (H₂ ˉ) sebesar -2,304, hidrogen fosfat (H ²ˉ) sebesar -2,878, asetat ( COOˉ) sebesar -1,822, dan thiosulfat ( ˉ) sebesar -1,814. Hasil uji validasi menunjukan beberapa perbedaan nilai yang dimungkinkan akibat adanya gangguan dari ion pengganggu.
