Abstract
In this final project discussed about the optimization of LTE (Long Term Evolution) network operator XL Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta. Jakarta is one of the urban cities in Indonesia that has a high demand for LTE, in terms of the number of population maupum activity using mobile data services. LTE network is completed in order to achieve the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) that has been specified. KPI is a reference of the engineers in determining the performance of radio frequency access conditions reaching optimum conditions. Measurements were made with TEMS Investigation 16 software by PT. Ericsson Indonesia as XL operator vendor. LTE network quality measurements must be met in the data service KPI namely Refference Singnal Received Power (RSRP), and Singnal To Interference to Noise Ration (SINR). From the above parameters values can be optimized LTE network in Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta with physical tuning method Based on the calculation result, the increase of RSRP and SINR value increased on Bad coverage of sector 1 RSRP increased by 8.88%, then in SINR increased by 25.66%. In Bad coverage sector 2 RSRP has increased by 10.85%, then the parameter SINR has increased by 27.17%. And On Bad coverage sector 3 RSRP experienced an increase of 9.63%, then on SINR parameter has increased by 6,09%. With the target KPI RSRP ≥ 98 dBm and target KPI SINR ≥ 3 db. Parameters have met KPI target on LTE network. Keywords : LTE, RSRP, SINR, KPI , TEMS , PHYSICAL TUNING Pada tugas akhir ini dibahas mengenai optimasi pada jaringan LTE (Long Term Evolution) operator XL didaerah Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan. Jakarta merupakan salah satu kota urban di Indonesia yang memiliki kebutuhan LTE cukup tinggi, dilihat dari segi jumlah penduduk maupum aktifitas penggunaan layanan data seluler. Jaringan LTE didesaian agar dapat mencapai KPI (Key Performance Indicator) yang telah di tentukan. KPI merupakan acuan para engineer dalam menentukan performansi kondisi akses radio frekuensi mencapai kondisi optimal. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan perangkat lunak TEMS Investigation 16 oleh PT. Ericsson Indonesia sebagai vendor operator XL. Pengukuran kualitas jaringan LTE harus terpenuhi pada KPI layanan data yaitu, Refference Singnal Received Power (RSRP),dan Singnal To Interference to Noise Ration (SINR).Dari nilai-nilai parameter diatas maka dapat dilakukan optimasi jaringan LTE di daerah Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan dengan metode physical tuning Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh peningkatan nilai RSRP dan SINR peningkatan yaitu pada Bad coverage sektor 1 RSRP mengalami peningkatan sebesar 8,88%, selanjutnya pada SINR mengalami peningkatan sebesar 25,66%. Pada Bad coverage sektor 2 RSRP mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10,85%, selanjutnya pada parameter SINR mengalami peningkatan sebesar 27,17%. Dan Pada Bad coverage sektor 3 RSRP mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,63%, selanjutnya pada parameter SINR mengalami peningkatan sebesar 6,09%. Dengan dengan target KPI RSRP ≥ 98 dBm dan target KPI SINR ≥ 3 db. Parameter telah memenuhi target KPI pada jaringan LTE. Kata kunci: LTE, RSRP, SINR, KPI , TEMS , PHYSICAL TUNING
