Abstract

Infrared therapy is a therapy using infrared light irradiation aimed at members of the human body. In general, infrared therapy devices only use the on / off button. In line with the development of technology to facilitate the operation and control of the tool and can generate databases for that reason, infrared therapy devices that can be controlled via android as well as generate databases are made, with it made "Design of Arduino-Based Infrared Therapy with Android Control". The distance between infrared lights and patients is generally between 50-75 cm. The lamp is positioned opposite and perpendicular to the area to be irradiated to ensure maximum absorption, to make a device that can be directly controlled by both the doctor and the patient himself and to have a database so an infrared therapy device using a microcontroller can be controlled via android communicated via Bluetooth and generate a database, and there is a manual control in the form of a setting button on the tool. From the infrared therapy design system that has been created, the tool can be controlled via Android, both in the duration of the irradiation process, Arduino response to Android, especially in the emergency stop as a security, the history stored on Android as a database includes the name of the patient, type of therapy, date and time therapy, and manual controls in the form of a setting button so that the tool can function even without Android as optional. Keyword – Infrared Therapy, Arduino, Android, Bluetooth Infrared terapi adalah terapi dengan menggunakan penyinaran sinar infrared yang ditujukan kepada anggota tubuh manusia. Pada umumnya alat infrared terapi hanya menggunakan tombol on/off, Sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi untuk memudahkan pengoperasian serta kontrol alat dan dapat menghasilkan database dengan alasan itu maka dibuatkan alat infrared terapi yang dapat dikontrol melalui android sekaligus menghasilkan database, dengan itu dibuat “Rancang Bangun Infrared Terapi Berbasis Arduino Dengan Kontrol Android”. Jarak antara lampu infrared dengan pasien umumnya antara 50-75 cm. Lampu diposisikan berhadapan dan tegak lurus dengan daerah yang akan disinari untuk menjamin penyerapan yang maksimal, untuk membuat alat yang dapat dikontrol langsung baik oleh dokter maupun pasien sendiri serta memiliki database maka dibuatkan alat infrared terapi menggunakan mikrokontroller yang dapat dikontrol melalui android yang dikomunikasikan melalui Bluetooth dan menghasilkan database, serta adanya kontrol manual berupa tombol setting pada alat. Dari sistem perancangan infrared terapi yang telah dibuat, alat dapat dikontrol melalui android, baik dalam lamanya proses penyinaran berlangsung, respon arduino terhadap android terutama pada emergency stop sebagai pengaman, histori yang tersimpan pada android sebagai database mencakup nama pasien, jenis terapi, tanggal dan waktu terapi, serta kontrol manual berupa tombol setting agar alat dapat berfungsi walau tanpa android sebagai opsional.
