Abstract
The research is to know if there’s an influence of the intensity of reading quotes content to the resilience of Instagram users among teenagers. This research use quantitative methods. Total of the respondent on this research is 463 teenagers who used Instagram which has the appropriate criteria as aged around 12 – 21 years old, Instagram user, like to reading quotes and speaks Bahasa. With this, samples selection technique that used in this research is purposive sampling. Intensity was measured with a scale that have 23 items on it and for the resilience, it was also measured with a scale that have 25 items. This research uses linear regression to know the impact of intensity reading quotes to the resilience. Results showed that there’s a significant impact between intensity towards resilience even though it turns out with a small percentage. With the R Square score was 0,036 and the significant score was 0,005, it means that there’s an influence of the intensity of viewing humor content towards the resilience in the amount of 3,6%. Keyword: Intensity, Aphorism, Quotes, Resilience, Instagram, Teenagers Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh intensitas membaca aforisma atau quotes terhadap resiliensi pengguna Instagram di kalangan remaja. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 463 remaja pengguna Instagram yang memiliki kriteria sesuai dengan penelitian yaitu berusia sekitar 12 – 21 tahun, pengguna Instagram, suka membaca aforisma atau quotes dan juga berbahasa Indonesia. Dengan ini, teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Intensitas diukur menggunakan skala yang terdiri dari 23 item dan untuk resiliensi juga diukur menggunakan skala yang terdiri dari 25 item. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas membaca quotes terhadap resiliensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara intensitas terhadap resiliensi meskipun memiliki persentase yang kecil. Dengan nilai R Square sebesar 0,036 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,005, yang berarti intensitas melihat aforisma atau quotes memiliki pengaruh terhadap resiliensi sebesar 3,6%.
