Abstract
The purpose of this research was conducted to understand the relationship of self-control with consumptive behavior in adolescent women who follow fashion trend Korea. The instrument used a scale of self-control and scale of consumptive behavior that was spread on 312 research subjects. The respondents were adolescent women who follow fashion trend korea aged 15-18 years. Analysis of the data used the product moment correlation from pearson. Result from the research showed that self-control is obtained on the category high percentage IE 64,4%. As for the consumer behavior obtained the percentage in the low category IE 62.8%. The results were correlation variable r = -0,388 p = 0,000, which meant that the hypothesis ini this research received. There was a negative relationship between self-control with consumptive behavior. The higher of self-control, so it can be lower of the consumptive behavior in adolescent women who follow fashion trend korea and conversely, the lower of the self-control, the higher the consumer behavior in adolescent women who follow fashion trend korea. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kontrol diri dengan perilaku konsumtif pada remaja perempuan yang mengikuti trend fashion Korea. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu skala kontrol diri dan skala perilaku konsumtif yang disebarkan pada 312 subjek penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja perempuan yang mengikuti trend fashion korea berusia 15-18 tahun. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment dari pearson. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontrol diri diperoleh persentase pada kategori tinggi yaitu 64,4%. Sedangkan untuk perilaku konsumtif diperoleh persentase pada kategori rendah yaitu 62,8%. Hasil korelasi variable adalah r = -0,388 p = 0,000 yang artinya hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Terdapat hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku konsumtif. Semakin tinggi kontrol diri maka semakin rendah perilaku konsumtif pada remaja perempuan yang mengikuti trend fashion korea dan sebaliknya, semakin rendah kontrol diri maka semakin tinggi perilaku konsumtif pada remaja perempuan yang mengikuti trend fashion korea.
