Abstract

Packaging not only serves as a protective product, packaging must also be designed to mature so that the packaging may attract the attention of potential buyers. So interesting, packaging can be designed using the colors are striking, unique shape or artistic graphics. In this case, I am inspired the design of the packaging material using traditional wooden balsa and vintage themed applied forms of packaging and stickers affixed on the packaging as packaging are expected to cover these products have the hallmark on the packaging aims to give the impression of classic antique, modern look in a unique form of packaging, in addition also features holes on the box packaging that exposes the functionality of the product content with acrylics in order to provide more impression on the packaging for the consumer. Keywords: Packaging, Vintage, Balsa Wood, Acrylics, Stickers, Traditional toys Kemasan (packaging) tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pelindung produk saja, kemasan juga harus didesain secara matang agar kemasan dapat menarik perhatian calon pembeli. Supaya menarik, kemasan dapat didesain dengan menggunakan warna yang mencolok, bentuk yang unik maupun grafis yang artistik. Dalam hal ini, saya terinspirasi perancangan kemasan mainan tradisional yang menggunakan material dari kayu balsa dan bertema vintage mengaplikasikan bentuk kemasan dan stiker yang ditempel pada kemasan sebagai sampul kemasan tersebut diharapkan produk ini memiliki ciri khas pada kemasan bertujuan memberikan kesan klasik, antik, terlihat modern pada bentuk kemasan yang unik, selain itu juga dilengkapi lubang pada kotak kemasan yang fungsinya memperlihatkan isi produk dengan bahan akrilik agar dapat memberikan kesan lebih pada kemasan bagi konsumen.
