Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the relationship between Work Engagement and Readiness for change at PT. XXX. This research was conducted on all employees of PT. XXX who worked in Jakarta head office with a sample of 104 people determined by purposive sampling technique. All measuring instruments used a Likert scale. The measurement tool used in this research is the Utrecht Work Engagement 17 Scale to measure work engagement, and the Readiness for Organizational Change 25 Scale to measure readiness to change. Correlation test analysis conducted on SPSS 20.0 for Windows is used to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between Work Engagement and employee readiness to change (r = 0.427; p = 0.00). This means that the higher the level of work engagement lead to the higher the readiness of the employee to change. keywords: work engagement, employee readiness to change Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan Work Engagement dengan Kesiapan karyawan untuk berubah pada PT. XXX. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada seluruh karyawan PT. XXX yang bekerja di kantor pusat jakarta dengan jumlah sampel 104 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Seluruh alat ukur yang digunakan menggunakan skala likert. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini adalah Utrecht Work Engagement 17 Scale untuk mengukur work engagement, dan Readiness for Organizational Change 25 Scale untuk mengukur kesiapan karyawan untuk berubah. Analisis uji korelasi yang dilakukan pada SPSS 20.0 for windows digunakan untu mengujian hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Work Engagement dengan Kesiapan karyawan untuk berubah.( r = 0,427; p = 0,00). Hal ini diartikan semakin tinggi tingkat work engagement maka akan semakin tinggi kesiapan karyawan tersebut untuk berubah. kata kunci: work engagement, kesiapan karyawan untuk berubah
