Abstract
West java has the transcendent value that has attached to since the past both reflected formally and informal in society. The concept of the concept of local in the tradition of sunda, as the silih asih, silih asuh, silih asih namely each other remind and mutual charge of that is a cornerstone of important in developing the idea that drive his back. The importance of the existence of the cultural center in a provincial capital to preserve the art and culture to represent local identity or character. Planning the art and cultural center in west java can also become power with important means to support the expansion that is concerned and in a continuing way with a culture of current exchange rate against the contemporary essentially and perfectly morally good be of a reasonable size national and international . In other words the existence of a center of artistic and the cultural should be able to built with system complement each other differences that beneficial and quality (synergistic) . The existence of a container or place the art and cultural center west java is expected to accommodate activity culture integrally and to improve economic conditions people in the neighborhoods to make a relationship sustainable. Key words: the art and cultural center , west java, Synergistic. Jawa Barat memiliki nilai-nilai luhur yang telah melekat sejak masa lalu baik yang tercermin secara formal maupun informal dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Konsep-konsep lokal dalam tradisi Sunda, seperti silih asah, silih asuh, silih asih yaitu saling mengingatkan dan saling mengasuh yang merupakan landasan penting dalam mengembangkan gagasan yang melatar belakanginya. Pentingnya keberadaan gedung Pusat kebudayaan di dalam suatu ibukota provinsi guna melestarikan nilai seni dan kebudayaan agar dapat merepresentasikan identitas atau karakter setempat. Perencanaan Pusat Seni dan Budaya di Jawa Barat dapat juga menjadi sarana penting untuk mendukung pengembangan yang berkaitan dan berkelanjutan dengan budaya saat ini (Kontemporer) baik berskala nasional dan internasional. Dengan kata lain keberadaan Pusat Seni dan Budaya tersebut hendaknya dapat dibangun dengan system saling mengisi dan melengkapi perbedaan agar bermanfaat dan berkualitas (Sinergis). Keberadaan wadah atau tempat Pusat Seni dan Budaya Jawa Barat diharapkan dapat menampung aktivitas budaya secara terpadu dan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di sekitarnya agar menciptakan suatu hubungan yang berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Pusat Seni dan Budaya, Jawa Barat, Sinergis.
