Abstract

Graduates of colleges in Indonesia is having a dilemma which is less good, because of the results of observation that is run at the University of Mercu Buana Jakarta found there are students who have already graduated from college that they are still confusion with the work they are going to take, what kind of company will receive them as well as the position of what they obtain from the company, and the company negri or private companies that will receive their work in place. Or most likely from those who are not yet ready to enter the workforce. This research aims to know the relationship of self efficacy against readiness to work at Mercu Buana University student Psikolgi Faculty. As for the approach used is penedekatan, and the quantitative data collected as many as 71 respondents with engineering quota sampling and accidental sampling. The research on using the tools in the form of application of SPSS (Statistics Program for Scale Science) 23 for windows. The results of this research show that self efficacy gives the relationship of 0,788 or 78,8% against a readiness to work. Furthermore, values of correlation significant value 0,313 with p = 0,008 < 0,05 which means that the existance of a significan relationship between self efficacy with readiness to work on a psychology student University Mecu Buana. Because it is based on the findings of researchers can conclude that there is a positive relationship of self efficacy and readiness to work on a psychology student University Mecu Buana. Lulusan dari perguruan tinggi di Indonesia sedang mengalami dilema yang kurang baik, karena dari hasil observasi yang dijalankan di Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta ditemukan terdapat Mahasiswa yang sudah lulus dari perguruan tinggi bahwa mereka masih kebingungan dengan pekerjaan yang akan mereka ambil, perusahaan seperti apa yang akan menerima mereka serta jabatan apa yang mereka peroleh dari perusahaan tersebut, dan perusahaan negri atau perusahaan swasta yang akan menerima mereka berkerja di tempatnya. Atau kemungkinan besar dari mereka yang belum siap untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self efficacy terhadap readiness to work pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikolgi Mercu Buana. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan ialah penedekatan kuantitatif, dan data yang dikumpulkan sebanyak 71 responden dengan teknik quota sampling dan accidental sampling. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan alat bantu berupa aplikasi SPSS (Statistics Program for Scale Science) 23 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa self efficacy memberikan hubungan sebesar 0,788 atau sebesar 78,8% terhadap readiness to work, selanjutnya berdasarkan uji hipotesis dengan metode korelasi didapat nilai korelasi 0,313 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,008< 0,05. Karena itu berdasarkan temuan yang peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif self efficacy dan readiness to work pada Mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Mecu Buana.
