Abstract

Supplier selection is one of the important things in purchasing activities for the company. Supplier selection is a multi-criteria problem that includes quantitative and qualitative factors. One method that can be used for selecting suppliers is the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. This research was conducted at an airline service company, PT Lion Mentari AIrlines, which will develop partnership relationships with tire suppliers. The problems that will be discussed in this study are: (1) what is the order of priority of criteria and sub-criteria in selecting suppliers on PT Lion Mentari AIrlines? (2) Which supplier / supplier should be selected by PT Lion Mentari Airlines based on the AHP method? Samples from this study are decision makers and parties in the purchasing and warehouse departments who know supplier performance. The sampling technique uses Expert judgment because the AHP method requires dependence on a group of experts in accordance with the type of related specialist in decision making. From the results of the assessment of the importance of criteria in supplier selection produces priority / weight scale as follows: priority I quality (0,518), priority II price (0,188), priority III Service (0,110), priority IV Completeness Document (0,095) priority V Shipping (0,045 ) and the last is the VI priority of the Company Conditions (0.044). From the results of the assessment of the level of alternative importance in the selection of suppliers produces a priority scale / weight as follows: Bridgestone supplier I priority (9,157), Goodyear supplier priority II (5,727), Sunlop supplier priority III (4,116). Based on the results of the analysis above, the advice that can be given is, if the company will develop partnership relationships with suppliers, the company is prioritized to choose Bridgestone suppliers as tire suppliers for the company because Bridgestone suppliers are suppliers that have the highest overall value. With the existence of this partnership relationship, the supply chain performance between suppliers and companies will be better and can expedite the target to supply tires to the aircraft. Keywords: supplier selection, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), best supplier, case study Pemilihan supplier merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam aktivitas pembelian bagi perusahaan. Pemilihan supplier merupakan masalah multi kriteria yang meliputi faktor-faktor kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Salah satu metode yang bisa digunakan untuk pemilihan supplier adalah metode AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada sebuah perusahaan jasa penerbangan, PT Lion Mentari AIrlines, yang akan mengembangkan hubungan kemitraan dengan supplier Ban. Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) bagaimanakah urutan prioritas kriteria dan subkriteria dalam pemilihan supplier pada PT Lion Mentari AIrlines? (2) supplier/pemasok manakah yang sebaiknya dipilih oleh PT Lion Mentari Airlines berdasarkan metode AHP? Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah para pengambil keputusan dan pihak-pihak yang berada dalam departemen pembelian dan gudang yang mengetahui kinerja supplier. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Expert judgment karena metode AHP mensyaratkan ketergantungan pada sekelompok ahli sesuai dengan jenis spesialis terkait dalam pengambilan keputusan. Dari hasil penilaian tingkat kepentingan kriteria dalam pemilihan supplier menghasilkan skala prioritas/bobot sebagai berikut: prioritas I kualitas (0,518), prioritas II harga (0,188), prioritas III Pelayanan (0,110), prioritas IV Kelengkapan Dokumen (0,095) prioritas V Pengiriman (0,045) dan yang terakhir prioritas ke VI Kondisi Perusahaan (0,044). Dari hasil penilaian tingkat kepentingan alternatif dalam pemilihan supplier menghasilkan skala prioritas/bobot sebagai berikut: prioritas I supplier Bridgestone (9,157), prioritas II supplier Goodyear (5,727), prioritas III supplier Sunlop (4,116). Berdasarkan hasil analisis di atas, saran yang dapat diberikan adalah, jika perusahaan akan mengembangkan hubungan kemitraan dengan supplier, perusahaan diutamakan untuk memilih supplier Bridgestone sebagai supplier ban bagi perusahaan karena supplier Bridgestone merupakan supplier yang memiliki nilai keseluruhan paling tinggi. Dengan adanya hubungan kemitraan ini, kinerja rantai pasokan antara supplier dan perusahaan akan semakin baik dan dapat memperlancar target untuk supply ban ke pesawat.
