Abstract

The classroom as a place to learn requires sufficient lighting intensity to support classroom user activity. Lighting in the classroom determines the convenience of indoor activity for the classroom user. This study aims to find out whether the classroom lighting is in accordance with standard for a classroom and classroom user comfort. This research was conducted in classroom XII IPS 1 in SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta. Classroom XII IPS 1 is on the 2nd floor. In the classroom looks many have openings and hindered by waking up on the side. This study uses quantitative descriptive approach and conducted the population of students using classroom XII IPS 1. The results showed natural and artificial lighting in the classroom XII IPS 1 has not meet standard SNI 6197-2011. Suggestions and suggestions are proposed is the need for further detailed research for the uniformity of light in space and the need add point of artificial light and spatial layout space again. Keywords : Lighting, Clasroom, Visual Ruang kelas sebagai tempat untuk belajar membutuhkan intensitas pencahayaan yang cukup untuk mendukung aktivitas pengguna ruang kelas. Pencahayaan pada ruang kelas menentukan kenyamanan beraktifitas di dalam ruang bagi pengguna ruang kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu apakan pencahayaan ruang kelas sudah sesuai dengan standar untuk sebuah ruang kelas dan kenyamanan pengguna ruang kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di ruang kelas XII IPS 1 di SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta. Ruang kelas XII IPS 1 berada di lantai 2. Pada ruang kelas tersebut terlihat banyak memiliki bukaan dan terhalang oleh bangun disisinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskritif kuantitatif dan dilakukan pengambilan populasi siswa siswi pengguna ruang kelas XII IPS 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pencahayaan alami dan buatan pada ruang kelas XII IPS 1 belum memenuhi standar SNI 6197-2011. Saran dan masukan yang di ajukan adalah perlunya dilakukan penelitian lanjutan lebih detail untuk keseragaman cahaya dalam ruang dan perlu adanya penambaahn titik cahaya buatan dan penataan layout ruang kembali.
