Abstract
Inventory control is one of the important problems for a company because it will relate to the total cost of inventory that will be issued. The main purpose of spare parts inventory control in this final project is to minimize total inventory costs by considering the Forecasting method and the MRP method for inventory. The Forecasting method used is a cycle. Where is obtained by plotting the data and seeing the error value of the Moving Average, Weight Moving Average, and Exponential Smoothing methods. The author conducted research at PT. XYZ. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the company had been making an economical order in meeting spare parts needs, and knowing which inventory costs were the most optimal among lots of Sizing EOQ, LFL, FOQ, FPR, and POQ. After calculating the total inventory cost, the result is that the lowest total inventory cost is the LFL lot sizing of Rp12,005,000, FPR of Rp12,250,000, the biggest starting from FOQ is Rp14,000,000, POQ of Rp14,070,000, and EOQ of Rp18,007,318. Pengendalian persediaaan merupakan salah satu masalah penting bagi suatu perusahaan karena akan berkaitan dengan total biaya persediaan yang akan dikeluarkan. Tujuan utama pengendalian persediaan sparepart pada tugas akhir ini adalah untuk meminimalkan total biaya persediaan dengan mempertimbangkan metode Forecasting dan metode MRP untuk persediaan. Metode Forecasting yang digunakan adalah siklus. Dimana didapat dengan cara melakukan ploting data dan melihat nilai error dari metode Moving Average, Weight Moving Average, dan Exponential Smoothing. Penulis melakukan penelitian pada PT. XYZ Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah perusahaan selama ini telah melakukan pemesanan yang ekonomis dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sparepart, serta mengetahui total biaya persediaan mana yang paling optimal diantara lot Sizing EOQ, LFL, FOQ, FPR, dan POQ. Setelah melakukan perhitungan total biaya persediaan didapatkan hasil dimana total biaya persediaan paling kecil adalah lot sizing LFL sebesar Rp. 12.005.000, FPR sebesar Rp. 12.250.000, hingga yang terbesar dimulai dari FOQ sebesar Rp. 14.000.000, POQ sebesar Rp. 14.070.000, dan EOQ sebesar Rp. 18.007.318.
