Abstract
Auditing Chiller Performance and AC system was conducted at the Mercure Ancol Convention Center Hotel located on Jl. Pantai Indah Taman Impian Jaya Ancol where the audit process was conducted. Energy consumption is quite high, especially when the occupancy is low, therefore the authors have the idea to conduct an audit, especially in the Chiller and AC system. The purpose of this Final Project report is to compare the capacity of the chiller to the occupancy rate at the hotel and measure COP in the chiller. Based on the results of testing conducted on the Chiller in the Hotel, the results obtained that COP on Chiller 1 = 5.0, Chiller 2 = 4.1 and chiller 3 = 4.3. From the results of comparative analysis of chiller capacity and cooling load of 3 conditions: full occupancy rate, occupancy rate medium and low occupancy rates get results that is when the occupancy is being able to operate only by using only 2 chiller units, while at low occupancy conditions, only 1 chiller unit can be operated Keywords: COP analysis, chiller capacity ratio and system air conditioning, refrigeration and air conditioning. Pengauditan Unjuk kerja Chiller danAC sistem di lakukan di Hotel Mercure Ancol Convention Center yang berlokasi di Jl.Pantai Indah Taman Impian Jaya Ancol adalah tempat dilakukannya proses audit. Konsumsi energy terbilang cukup tinggi terutama saat hunian rendah, maka dari itu penulis mempunyai pemikiran untuk melakukan audit khususnya pada bagian Chiller dan AC sistem. Tujuan dari penulisan laporan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk membandingkan kapasitas chiller dengan tingkat hunian pada hotel dan mengukur COP pada chiller. Berdasarkan data hasil pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap Chiller di Hotel maka didapat hasil bahwa COP pada Chiller 1 = 5.0, Chiller 2 = 4.1 dan chiller 3 = 4.3 .Dari hasil analisa perbandingan kapasitas chiller dan beban pendinginan dari 3 kondisi yaitu tingkat hunian penuh, tingkat huniran sedang dan tingkat hunian rendah di dapatkan hasil yaitu saat hunian sedang bisa beroperasi hanya dengan menggunakan 2 unit chiller saja, sedangkan pada saat kondisi tingkat penghuni rendah bisa dioperasikan 1 unit chiller saja. Kata kunci : Analisis COP, perbandingan kapasitas chiller dan AC sistem, refrigerasi dan tata udara.
