Abstract

Experienced tourism makes each region can be used to open the field, increase local revenue, prosper the people involved in tourism activities, and increase public interest in travel. The most important thing in tourism is the means of accommodation used by tourists to rest in areas near tourist destinations, accommodation that is often sought tourists such as hotels, guesthouses, motels, villas, resorts, hostels, etc.. What about the tourist areas that are there for hotels, resorts and other lodging types not yet available? then renting rooms owned by local residents is the solution.Many mobile applications are already supported for online lodging reservation such as Traveloka, Agoda, PegiPegi, Tiket.com and others. However, applications that already exist today still prioritize lodging reservations such as hotels and resorts only. As for the room or house residents in the area there is no application that supports. Through this research, the author in an effort to design and build an information system based on android room rentals is an Android marketplace based online app for renters and owners who rent out rooms and homes. The leased rooms are rent daily. In doing this research, system development method used is prototype method. While coding and software support using Java programming language, PHP with MySQL database. With the development of android-based mobile applications regarding information systems rental rooms based on android, is expected to help people in the community to advertise rooms, houses, apartments and boarding houses owned by the community. Key Word: rental, information systems, android, reservation Pariwisata yang beragam membuat setiap daerah dapat mengandalkan untuk membuka lapangan pekerjaan, meningkatkan pendapatan daerah, mensejahterakan masyarakat yang ikut berperan dalam aktivitas pariwisata, serta meningkatkan minat masyarakat dalam berwisata. Hal terpenting dalam pariwisata selain objek wisata adalah sarana akomodasi yang digunakan para wisatawan beristirahat di daerah yang dekat tujuan wisata, akomodasi yang sering dicari wisatawan yaitu penginapan seperti hotel, guesthouse, motel, villa, resort, hostel, dll.. Bagaimana dengan daerah wisata yang di sana untuk hotel, resort dan jenis penginapan lainnya belum tersedia? maka menyewa kamar milik warga lokal merupakan solusinya. Banyak aplikasi-aplikasi mobile yang sudah mendukung untuk reservasi penginapan online seperti Traveloka, Agoda, PegiPegi, Tiket.com dan lain-lain. Hanya saja, aplikasi-aplikasi yang sudah ada saat ini masih mengutamakan reservasi penginapan seperti hotel dan resort saja. Sedangkan untuk kamar atau rumah wargadi daerah belum ada aplikasi yang mendukung. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis dalam usaha merancang dan membangun sebuah sistem informasipenyewaan kamar berbasis android yaitu sebuah aplikasi online marketplace berbasis Android untuk penyewa dan pemilik yang menyewakan kamar dan rumah. Kamar yang disewakan merupakan sewa secara harian. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode prototype. Sedangkan pengkodingan dan perangkat lunak yang mendukung menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java, PHP dengan databaseMySQL. Dengan dikembangkan aplikasi mobile berbasis android mengenai sistem informasipenyewaan kamar berbasis android, diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat dalam masyarakat untuk mengiklankan kamar, rumah, apartement dan kos-kosan miliknya.
