Abstract
The conventional medical oxygen regulator is an oxygen regulator used for oxygen therapy. In its utilization, conventional oxygen regulators only carry oxygen continuously. While humans have a respiratory cycle where 1 times the breath, humans do inspiration and expiration. In its use it is obviously very inefficient because during the inspiration and expiration process, the regulator keeps oxygen flowing continuously. In doing so, it is necessary to record the initial time of usage and manual end time. To overcome the problem then designed the oxygen regulator tool according to the respiratory cycle added with the feature of calculating the volume with telemetry remotely using APC220. For the block diagram of the tool there are several parts include sensor flow, air flow sensor, arduino uno controller, pressure sensor, electric valve, display and RF module APC220 for sending data module to hospital admin. For designs made also use a timer where the valve system will open according to the desired breath settings. And in automatic detection mode, the valve will open if the airflow sensor detects low temperature on the nose and the valve will be closed if the airflow sensor detects high temperature on the patient's nose. and ultimately the instrument will measure the volume of oxygen coming out to the patient. For sensor readings results obtained error reading oxygen sensor value of 5.7% and volume readings of 0.385% And in the measurement of efficiency at respiration 20 times / minute obtained 50.8%. in the experimental use of the tool, the performance of the apparatus works normally so that the device can be declared worthy of use. Keyword: inspiration, expiration, regulator, volume, RFAPC220, flow sensor, pressure sensor Regulator oksigen medis konvensional merupakan regulator oksigen yang digunakan untuk terapy oksigen. Dalam pemanfaatannya, regulator oksigen konvensional hanya mengalirkan oksigen secara kontinue. Sedangkan manusia mempunyai siklus pernafasan dimana 1 kali nafas, manusia melakukan inspirasi dan ekspirasi. Dalam penggunaannya sudah jelas sangat tidak efisien dikarena saat proses inspiraasi dan ekspirasi, regulator tetap mengalirkan oksigen secara kontinue. Dalam melakukan hal tersebut, perlu dilakukannya pencatatan waktu awal pemakaian dan waktu akhir pemakaian secara manual. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka dirancanglah alat regulator oksigen sesuai siklus pernafasan ditambahkan dengan fitur kalkulasi volume dengan telemetri jarak jauh menggunakan APC220. Untuk blok diagram alat terdapat beberapa bagian meliputi sensor flow, sensor air flow, controler arduino uno, sensor tekanan, valve elektrik, display dan modul RF APC220 untuk modul kirim data ke admin rumah sakit. Untuk perancangan yang dibuat juga menggunakan pewaktu dimana sistem valve akan terbuka sesuai settingan nafas yang dikehendaki. Dan dalam mode deteksi otomatis, valve akan terbuka jika sensor air flow mendeteksi suhu rendah pada hidung dan valve akan tertutup jika sensor air flow mendeteksi suhu tinggi pada hidung pasien. dan pada akhirnya alat akan mengukur volume oksigen yang keluar ke pasien. Untuk hasil pembacaan sensor didapatkan nilai kesalahan pembacaan pressure sensor oksigen sebesar 5,7 % dan pembacaan volume sebesar 0,385% Serta dalam pengukuran efisiensi pada pernafasan 20 kali/menit didapat 50,8%. pada percobaan pemakaian alat, kinerja alat berfungsi dengan normal sehingga alat dapat dinyatakan layak pakai.
