Abstract
Algorithm Round Robin is an algorithm which is applied for scheduling. Its advantage is faster response time for small scale process. This research is conducted at a company which carry out import activities where the input datas are not integrated and there is no observation of working time of each staff. This task becomes an obstacle for Assistant Supervisior in supervising the work of the staff. This causes an unrestrained overtime work and waste of money which exceed target. Implementation of this application Raw Material Procurement could become a solution for this problem because by using this application, the Assitant Supervisior can observe the work process, so that the efficiency of budget due to overtime work can be optimized. This application implements the Round Robin Algorithm which considers the work time of processes. This research method used is a waterfall method with whitebox verification. Keywords : importation, round robin, waterfall Algoritma Round Robin adalah algoritma penjadwalan. Kelebihan Round Robin ini selain penerapan algoritma yang simple adalah respone time lebih cepat untuk proses berukuran kecil. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu Perusahaan yang melakukan kegiatan importasi dimana data yang diinputkan tidak terintegrasi dan tidak adanya pemantauan waktu pekerjaan pada setiap staff. Kegiatan Pekerjaan menjadi kendala Assistant Supervisior dalam memantau pekerjaan setiap staffnya. Hal ini menyebabkan terjadinya lembur yang tidak terkendali serta menyebabkan adanya pembayaran lembur dari perusahaan kepada karyawan yang melebihi target. Pembuatan Aplikasi raw material procurement ini menjadi solusi untuk permasalahan diatas karena dalam aplikasi ini setiap proses pekerjaan dapat diketauhi oleh Assistant Supervisior, sehingga dapat menekan biaya lembur. Aplikasi ini mengimplementasikan Algoritma Round Robin dalam proses perhitungan waktu pekerjaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall dengan metode pengujian whitebox.
