Abstract

The goal of this research is to determine effects of parenting styles and peers conformity on discipline attitude. The method used in this research is quantitative approach. The sample of the study was 198 students of MTs Annida Al-Islamy. In this research the sampling technique used is simple random sampling, where sampling is done randomly according to the existing population. Measuring instrument used in this study is a measuring tool parenting patterns, peers conformity and discipline. The analysis technique used is multiple regression. The result shows that there is effect of parenting patterns and peers conformity on discipline attitude with value R2 = 0,274 and P < 0,05 with the effects of parenting patterns and peers conformity is reached at 27,4% on discipline attitude. Keywords: Parenting Styles, Conformity, Peers, Discipline Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pola asuh orang tua dan konformitas teman sebaya terhadap sikap disiplin. Pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian merupakan 198 siswa MTs Annida Al-Islamy. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling, dimana pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak sesuai dengan populasi yang ada. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah alat ukur pola asuh orang tua, konformitas teman sebaya dan sikap disiplin. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Hasil dari analisis data disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pola asuh orang tua dan konformitas teman sebaya terhadap sikap disiplin dengan nilai R2 = 0,274 dan P < 0,05 dengan adanya pengaruh pola asuh orangtua dan konformitas teman sebaya sebesar 27,4% terhadap sikap disiplin.
