Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim to reveal the internal dialogue (talking to himself) that appear when people reflect itself in the face of events of a broken heart. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This study takes the respondent of participants narrative writing as many as 3 people at random who has a story about heartbreak. The research method uses analytics content a form maintain the shape and contents are poured in narrative form. So the focus of this study to look at in terms of self-reflection and rumination may appear on sentence of each paragraph that respondent wrote, after the pieces of each paragraph in based on related theory in view phrase or word that often appear and represent the theoretical description contains elements of internal dialogue in reflection to face heartbreak events. The results of the study illustrate that the study subjects are two people experience the rumination that is stuck in the problem and one person suffered a reflection that is able to resolve its problems. Keyword : Internal Dialogue, Self-Reflection, Broken Heart Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dialog internal (percakapan pada diri sendiri) yang di munculkan saat individu merefleksikan dirinya ketika menghadapi peristiwa patah hati. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengambil responden dari peserta narrative writing sebanyak 3 orang secara random yang memiliki kisah mengenai patah hati. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis (content) isi sebagai wujud mempertahankan bentuk dan isi yang di tuangkan dalam bentuk narasi. Sehingga fokus penelitian ini untuk melihat dari sisi refleksi diri dan ruminasi yang mungkin muncul pada kalimat-kalimat setiap paragraf yang responden tulis, setelah itu potongan-potongan setiap paragraf di temakan berdasarkan teori terkait dilihat frasa atau kata yang sering muncul dan mewakili deksripsi teori yang mengandung unsur dialog internal dalam reflesksi diri menghadapi peristiwa patah hati. Hasil dari penelitian menggambarkan bahwa subjek penelitian terdapat 2 orang mengalami ruminasi yaitu terjebak dalam masalahnya dan 1 orang mengalami refleksi yaitu mampu menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapinya. .
