Abstract
This research test and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style , discipline, and competencies to employees' performance of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Tangerang Ciledug. Population of this research was all of employee of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Tangerang Ciledug, with 41 total employee, all of them were the sample of this research. Research result shows that transformation leadership style, discipline and competencies are simultaneously and partially cause significant influence to employees'performance of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Tangerang Ciledug. Other than that, competencies has the most influented variable to employees' performance. Therefore, the advice for this research is expected by management of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri to maintain or even develop employees' competencies such as: a) soft competency which is competency that closely related to ability of maintaining working process, human interaction and develop interaction with others. The example of soft competencies are leadership, communication, interpersonal relations, etc. b) hard competency which is competency that relate with functional ability or technical skill of work. in other words, competencies are something that associated with technical matters at work. example of hard competencies are electrical engineering, marketing research, financial analysis, manpower planning, etc. keywords : Transformational leadership style, discipline, competency, and employees' performance Penelitian ini menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, kedisiplinan dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Cabang Tangerang Ciledug. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Cabang Tangerang Ciledug sebanyak 41 orang dan seluruhnya di jadikan sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, kedisiplinan dan kompetensi secara simultan maupun parsial memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja Karyawan PT Banks Syariah Mandiri KC Tangerang Ciledug. Selain itu , kompetensi merupakan variabel yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dengan demikian, saran untuk penelitian ini di harapkan managemen PT Bank Syariah Mandiri dapat mempertahankan atau bahkan lebih meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan yang meliputi: a) Soft competency atau jenis kompetensi yang berkaitan erat dengan kemampuan untuk mengelola proses pekerjaan, hubungan antar manusia serta membangun interaksi dengan orang lain. Contoh soft competency adalah: leadership, communication, interpersonal relation, dll; b). Hard competency atau jenis kompetensi yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan fungsional atau teknis suatu pekerjaan. Dengan kata lain, kompetensi ini berkaitan dengan seluk beluk teknis yang berkaitan dengan pekerjaan yang ditekuni. Contoh hard competency adalah: electrical engineering, marketing research, financial analysis, manpower planning, dll.
