Abstract

UPS stands for Uninterruptible Power Supply, if translated into Indonesian would mean Invalid Power System. UPS is a very important power supply system and required as well as a bastion of power failure and damage to the system and hardware. The purpose of the UPS for the apron floodlight is to improve the service of the airline and increase the reliability of the apron floodlight. UPS performance can be viewed from two conditions, is a normal conditions under which the UPS acts as a stabilizer against electrical interference and second where in an emergency when there is a power outage from the main power provider where the UPS serves as a temporary supply back up power supply. The result of this research is 2 UPS circuit with each UPS using 2 inputs, which is intended to facilitate the technicians when doing maintenance on UPS. The total load to be supplied by the 2 UPS is 160 kVA, with a battery voltage of 12VDC 100 Ah and Otonomi obtained for 13 minutes. UPS system used is On-Line UPS with Delta Conversion On-Line UPS topology. Keywords: UPS, Apron floodlight, MCB UPS merupakan singkatan dari Uninterruptible Power Supply, jika diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia akan berarti Sistem Daya Kebal. UPS merupakan sistem penyedia daya listrik yang sangat penting dan diperlukan sekaligus dijadikan sebagai benteng dari kegagalan daya serta kerusakan system dan hardware. Tujuannya di adakannya UPS untuk apron floodlight adalah guna meningkatkan pelayanan jasa pernerbangan dan meningkatkan kehandalan pada apron floodlight tersebut. Kinerja UPS dapat dipandang dari dua kondisi, yaitu kondisi normal dimana UPS berperan sebagai stabilizer terhadap gangguan kelistrikan dan kedua dimana pada kondisi darurat saat terjadi pemutusan aliran listrik dari penyedia daya utama dimana UPS berfungsi sebagai back up suplai daya sementara. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan 2 buah rangkaian UPS dengan masing – masing UPS menggunakan 2 input, yang di maksudkan adalah untuk memudahkan para teknsi apabila melakukan perawatan pada UPS. Total beban yang akan disuplai oleh ke 2 UPS tersebut adalah 160 kVA, dengan tegangan baterai 12VDC 100 Ah dan Otonomi yang didapatkan selama 13 menit. Sistem UPS yang digunkan adalah UPS On-Line dengan topologi Delta Conversion On-Line UPS. Kata kunci : UPS, Apron floodlight, MCB
