Abstract

Title: Analysis of the Use of Iron Structures with Lap Splice and Coupler Methods for Efficiency Improvement, Name: Syachroni Arief Budiman, NIM: 41116120109, Supervisor: Ir. Agus Suroso, MT, Year: 2018. In construction work parts of the method are very important in the construction of construction projects with methods that can provide very important results in terms of cost and in terms of time. With the rapid technological advancements in the world of construction, it allows work to choose one of the methods of construction implementation from several alternative methods of implementing existing construction. One of the efforts made with business is to change conventional ways into more modern ones. This led to innovations in connection systems using couplers and splice splice as an alternative to more modern connection systems. In the initial design in Indonesia 1 project for connection construction using splice splice, but after doing rotor work in zone B and calculated in terms of cost for a fairly large increase. After the release by the contractor, the design and design work for the planner consultant for the connection connection from the lap splice becomes a coupler. Couplers can save costs and reduce iron waste. Therefore, in this thesis, a joint connection will be made using a coupler to reduce waste and not to occur again in other raft zones. Keywords: Lap Splice, Coupler, Rebar Raft Pada pekerjaan konstruksi pemilihan suatu metode sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan suatu proyek konstruksi karena dengan metode pelaksanaan yang tepat dapat memberikan hasil yang maksimal terutama jika ditinjau dari segi biaya maupun dari segi waktu. Dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi yang semakin pesat dalam dunia konstruksi, memungkinkan pengelolaan proyek untuk memilih salah satu metode pelaksanaan konstruksi tertentu dari beberapa alternatif metode pelaksanaan konstruksi yang ada. Salah satu usaha yang dilakukan oleh pengelolaan proyek adalah dengan mengganti cara-cara konvensional menjadi yang lebih modern. Hal ini memunculkan inovasi pada sistem sambungan besi dengan menggunakan coupler dan lap splice sebagai alternatif dari sistem sambungan besi yang lebih modern. Pada design awal di proyek Indonesia 1 untuk pekerjaan sambungan besi menggunakan lap splice, tetapi setelah melakukan pekerjaan pembesian raft pada zona B dan diperhitungkan dari segi biaya mengalami peningkatan yang lumayan besar. Setelah dilakukan koordinasi oleh pihak kontraktor, maka kontraktor mangajukan perubahan design kepada konsultan perencana agar untuk pekerjaan sambungan besi dari lap splice diganti menjadi coupler. Coupler dapat menghemat biaya dan mengurangi waste besi. Maka dari itu dalam skripsi ini akan dibahas penyambungan pembesian menggunakan coupler untuk mengurangi waste dan agar tidak terjadi lagi pada zona raft yang lainnya.
