Abstract
Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta has been conducting lecture assessment by questionnaire method that Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) managed. People involved in this lecture assessment process are LPPM staff, lecture, and students. Students evaluate the lecture by scoring through questionnaire form when the teaching process is going. The problems are this method is ineffective and reduce the teaching duration. The answered questionnaire then needed to be input into Microsoft Excel which takes long time and vulnerable to any mistaken input. Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) doesn’t have a particular application that provide the lecture assessment process. Therefore, we built a web-based application for lecture assessment with SAW (Simple Additive Method) method with defined value of each criteria. This research yield an online-based system for lecture assessment starts form questionnaire to the final assessment report and expected that the new system would improve the lecture assessment be more effective in Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta. Keywords: Assessment, SAW Method, Online Questionnaire, Lecture Assessment Proses evaluasi kinerja dosen dalam lingkungan Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta menggunakan metode kuisioner untuk penilaian kinerja dosen oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM). Pihak yang terlibat dalam penilaian kinerja dosen antara lain, staff LPPM, mahasiswa, dosen, dan Kepala Program Studi. Proses pengisian lembar kuisioner dilakukan oleh mahasiswa ketika proses perkuliahan sedang berlangsung. Hal ini menimbulkan permasalahan, yaitu kurang efektif dan memotong pembahasan dosen. Proses pemindahan data hasil kuisioner mahasiswa ke dalam Microsoft Excel rentan akan kesalahan serta memakan waktu lama. Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) belum mempunyai aplikasi khusus yang digunakan untuk penilaian kinerja dosen. Oleh karena itu, dibangun sebuah aplikasi sistem penilaian kinerja dosen berbasis web dengan metode SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) berdasarkan kriteria dan bobot penilaian yang sudah ditentukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini, proses penilaian kinerja dosen dapat dilakukan secara online mulai dari proses input kuisioner sampai penyajian laporannya dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektifitas proses penilaian kinerja dosen di lingkungan Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta.
