Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the correlation between teacher’s teaching style and mathematics learning motivation of student in SMKN X South Jakarta. The research is done by spreading the questionnaire to the research’s subject which are the student of XIAPH1, XIAPH2 and XIBB class with active status in SMKN X South Jakarta with total 82 sample. Data analyze technique used in this research is statistic method chi square analysis with SPSS 22 application. Based on the result of Chi Square test, the Chi Square’s score is 9,499 with sig’s score 0,302. The sig’s score (0,302) > 0,05, therefore accept the H0 and reject the Ha. The conclusion is there is no significant correlation between teacher’s teaching style and mathematics learning motivation in student of XIAPH1, XIAPH2 and XIBB class at SMKN X South Jakarta. Keywords : teaching style, mathematics learning motivation Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan gaya mengajar guru dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa SMK X di Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner pada subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XIAPH1, XIAPH2 dan XIBB yang berstatus aktif di SMKN X Jakarta Selatan dengan sampel sebanyak 82. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode statistik analisis Chi Square dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 22. Berdasarkan hasil uji Chi Square didapatkan nilai Chi Square sebesar 9,499 dengan nilai sig sebesar 0,302. Nilai Sig (0,302) > 0,05 maka H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan gaya mengajar guru terhadap motivasi belajar matematika pada siswa kelas XIAPH1, XIAPH2 dan XIBB di SMKN X Jakarta Selatan.
