Abstract

The traffic of TV Streaming has increased, the capacity of broadband internet can't give the best quality of service for high TV streaming traffic. TV Broadcast as a content provider there is no business cooperation with mobile broadband for maximum the capacity of mobile TV services. Analog TV Station transmitters are very inefficient in the use of UHF frequency bandwidth. MHP (Multimedia Home Platform) is a data application not utilized by TV stations for multimedia purposes. EMBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) enables multilingual mobile TV traffic capability, with mobile broadband LTE Unicast service to serve low-traffic TV streaming capacity and LTE broadcasts to serve high traffic capacity. That is next generation Digital Television (DTV) capable of OTT (Over The Top) building new technology. In addition, if user does not have the LTE (Long Term Evolution) smartphone specification, the alternative uses DVB-T2 Lite donggle. Its function is the same to receive mobile TV broadcast, the difference for DVB-T2 Lite is using the frequency of digital TV station transmitter. The integration of TV Broadcast with Mobile Broadband will be create multimedia content, capable of adding interactive smart ad services and increased revenue for mobile providers with more varied content. The integration platform is able for speed the acceleration value on Digital Dividen for Mobile Broadband. The integration of all TVs conventional can minimize the cost of Opex and Capex Broadband Network infrastructure development eMBMS, the total cost charged about 4% per TV station. Profitability level is very significant, increasing its revenue by about 10-30% per year depending on increase of LTE Customer Penetration Rate. Keywords: LTE Broadcast, eMBMS, MHP, DVB-T2 Lite. Kebutuhan mobile video TV streaming semakin meningkat, kapasitas broadband internet tidak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan trafik TV streaming yang melonjat tinggi. TV broadcast sebagai konten provider tidak ada kerjasama bisnis dengan broadband seluler untuk memenuhi kapasitas layanan TV mobile. Pemancar TV analog yang digunakan oleh stasiun TV sangat tidak efisien dalam penggunaan bandwidth frekuensi UHF. Selain itu ada sebuah layanan aplikasi data yaitu MHP (Multimedia Home Platform) yang tidak dimanfaatkan baik oleh stasiun TV untuk melengkapi kebutuhan multimedia user mobile pada layanan interaktif TV streaming. eMBMS (envolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) mampu memberikan solusi untuk memenuhi kapasitas trafik TV streaming mobile, dengan layanan broadband seluler LTE Unicast untuk melayani kapasitas TV streaming trafik rendah dan LTE broadcast untuk melayani kapasitas trafik tinggi. Platform ini merupakan generasi TV masa depan yang mampu membangun teknologi OTT (Over The Top). Selain itu jika user tidak memiliki spesifikasi smartphone LTE (Long Term Evolution), alternatifnya menggunakan donggle DVB-T2 Lite. Fungsinya sama untuk menerima siaran TV mobile, bedanya untuk DVB-T2 Lite ini menggunakan frekuensi pemancar stasiun TV Digital. Integrasi TV Broadcast dengan Broadband selular menghasilkan nilai peningkatan pendapatan stasiun TV dengan konten multimedia yang mampu menambahkan layanan iklan interaktif dan meningkatkan pendapatan untuk provider seluler dengan konten lebih bervariasi. Integrasi platform ini mampu meningkatkan nilai akselerasi ekosistem pada Digital Dividen untuk Mobile Broadband. Dengan integrasi seluruh TV konvensional mampu meminimalisir biaya Opex dan Capex pembangunan infrastruktur Network eMBMS dengan total biaya yang dibebankan sekitar 4% per stasiun TV. Perubahan nilai Profitability Rate sangat signifikan, peningkatan pendapatannya sekitar 10-30% per tahun tergantung dari peningkatan Penetration Rate pelanggan LTE.
