Abstract
The purpose of this research is to test and analyze empirically the influence of growth opportunity, net working capital, leverage and profitability toward cash holding. The object of this research is property and real estate companies listed at the stock exchange Indonesia 2008 – 2015. The research design is causal research with this type of research using quantitative research methods. Sampling was done by purposive sampling in order to obtain as many as 23 companies met the criteria and were analyzed using eviews 9 with method use is panel data regession with random effect to test the hypothesis.The research finding can be summarized as follows,growth opportunity and net working capital has negatif influence not significacnt toward cash holding. Leverage and profitability has positif influence significant toward cash holding. Keywords: Growth Opportunity, Net Working Capital, Leverage, Profitability and Cash Holding Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh growth opportunity, net working capital, leverage dan profitabilitas terhadap cash holding pada perusahaan property dan real estat yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesi periode 2008 – 2015. penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kausal dengan jenis penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 23 perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel, dengan model random effect untuk menguji hipotesis dan dengan bantuan software Eviews 9. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Growth opportunity dan net working capital memiliki pengaruh negatif yang tidak signifikan terhadap cash holding. Sedangkan leverage dan profitability memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap cash holding Kata kunci: growth opportunity, net working capital, leverage, profitabilitas, cash holding
