Abstract
This research was conducted at PT. Cahaya Abadi Grafika is a company engaged in the printing industry. March 2017 shipment data delivery percentage below standard Delivery ratio that has been set at least by 92%. The purpose of writing this final report is to minimize the makepan value, the delay of product delivery and the effectiveness and efficiency of production scheduling. In this final report processing, the author tries to use the flow shop scheduling method in machine scheduling, where each job must pass through 4 machines in series. The methods to be applied are the CDS method (Campbell, dudek, and smith), heuristic palmer, and EDD (Earliest Due Date). The CDS method (Campbell, dudek, and smith) is to obtain the sequence k interasi (alternative sequence job) k = m - 1 aims to produce the fastest production process time. The palmer heuristic method is that this method places the order of work based on a value called slope index, the sequence of work starting from the largest slope index value to the smallest. In the data processing using CDS method (Campbell, dudek, and smith), Heuristic Palmer and EDD (Earliest Due Date) obtained the best use of CDS method, because the average completion time is better than the method of EDD and Heuristic Palmer is 4.4 day, Utility time is the added value of goods or services because it is faster and there when it takes greater than the method of EDD and Heuristic Palmer is 12.99%, the best average delay of EDD and Heuristic Palmer method, the least number of job delays in the process ie for 1 day. Keywords: Production process, Production scheduling, Makespan, CDS Method Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Cahaya Abadi Grafika merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri percetakan. Data pengiriman bulan maret 2017 presentase pengiriman dibawah standar Delivery ratio yang sudah ditetapkan minimal sebesar 92%. Tujuan dari penulisan laporan tugas akhir ini adalah meminimalisir nilai makespan, keterlambatan pengiriman produk serta efektifitas dan efisiensi dari penjadwalan produksi. Didalam pengolahan laporan tugas akhir ini, penulis mencoba menggunakan metode penjadwalan flow shop dalam penjadwalan mesin, dimana setiap pekerjaan harus melewati 4 mesin secara seri. Metode yang akan diterapkan adalah metode CDS ( Campbell, dudek, and smith ), heuristik palmer, dan EDD (Earliest Due Date). Metode CDS ( Campbell, dudek, and smith ) adalah untuk mendapatkan urutan k interasi ( alternatif urutan job ) k = m - 1 bertujuan untuk menghasilkan waktu proses produksi yang tercepat. Metode heuristik palmer yaitu metode ini menempatkan urutan pekerjaan berdasarkan suatu nilai yang dinamakan slope index, urutan pekerjaan dimulai dari nilai slope index yang terbesar sampai terkecil. Dalam pengolahan data dengan menggunakan metode CDS ( Campbell, dudek, and smith ), Heuristik Palmer dan EDD (Earliest Due Date) diperoleh hasil penggunaan metode CDS yang paling baik, karena waktu penyelesaian rata-rata lebih baik dari metode EDD dan Heuristik Palmer yaitu 4.4 hari, Utilitas waktu yaitu nilai tambah barang atau jasa karena lebih cepat dan ada ketika dibutuhkan lebih besar dari metode EDD dan Heuristik Palmer yaitu sebesar 12,99%, keterlambatan rata-rata paling baik dari metode EDD dan Heuristik Palmer, jumlah keterlambatan job paling kecil didalam prosesnya yaitu selama 1 hari.
