Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of capital structure, firm size, liquidity, profitability, activity ratio, and sales growth on firm value of consumer goods sector listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Research data is the annual data for the 2013-2017 observation period obtained from the companies annual report. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. From a population of 42 companies, 22 companies met the criteria to be the sample. The method of analysis used in this study is regression with panel data using Fixed Effect Model with R2 value 97.82 percent. The results showed that capital structure and profitability has an positive influence to the firm value, while firm size, liquidity, activity ratio and sales growth does not have any influence to the firm value. Profitability is the biggest variable in influencing firm value. Keywords: capital structure, profitability, firm size, liquidity, activity ratio, sales growth, firm value Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan, likuiditas, profitabilitas, rasio aktivitas dan pertumbuhan penjualan terhadap nilai perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data penelitian merupakan data tahunan untuk periode observasi tahun 2013-2017 yang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan perusahaan. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Dari populasi 42 perusahaan, 22 perusahaan memenuhi kriteria sebagai sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel menggunakan model Fixed Effect dengan nilai R2 sebesar 97,82 persen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan struktur modal dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan ukuran perusahaan, likuiditas, rasio aktivitas dan pertumbuhan penjualan tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Profitabilitas merupakan variabel yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap nilai perusahaan.
