Abstract
Learning and doing tasks is a mandatory activity undertaken by every college student who is still active in the lecture. In doing the learning activities and doing the task, student need a chair as a tool in the activitysav. Most college college students chose to stay in a boarding house while studying in college college student on the grounds of cost savings. While most of the boarding house is minimalist or does not large. Based on the phenomenon, The Writer has the idea to design a Study Chair that can be used by college student to supporting studying activities and doing tasks. The chair should be minimalist and do not require large space when used. The Writer adds several functions such as tables as a place to put books or laptops and shelves for storing books and stationery. In order to save space, The Writer makes the study chair with knock down system. Thus, when unused the chair is disassembled and stored and can be reassembled if it will used. Keywords: study, minimalist, furniture, study chair, knock down Belajar dan melakukan tugas adalah kegiatan wajib yang dilakukan oleh setiap mahasiswa/mahasiswi yang masih aktif dalam perkuliahan. Dalam melakukan kegiatan belajar dan mengerjakan tugas, mahasiswa/mahasiswi membutuhkan kursi sebagai alat bantu dalam melakukan aktivitasnya. Sebagian besar mahasiswa/mahasiswi memilih tinggal di rumah kost sambil belajar di perguruan tinggi dengan alasan menghemat biaya. Sementara sebagian besar rumah kos berukuran minimalis atau tidak besar. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, Penulis memiliki gagasan untuk merancang kursi belajar yang dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa/mahasiswi dalam membantu atau mendukung kegiatan belajar dan melakukan tugas. Kursi tersebut harus minimalis dan tidak membutuhkan ruang besar saat digunakan. Penulis menambahkan beberapa fungsi seperti meja sebagai tempat untuk meletakkan buku atau laptop serta rak untuk menyimpan buku dan alat tulis. Untuk menghemat ruang, Penulis membuat kursi belajar dengan sistem knock down. Jadi, ketika tidak digunakan kursi dibongkar untuk disimpan dan dapat disusun kembali jika akan digunakan.
