Abstract

This study examines the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) on Profitability. The population in this study amounted to 43 banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) with the study period of 2012 to 2016. The sample is one of the 90 annual reports of 18 banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data retrieval is done by downloading the Annual Report on the BEI official website, www.idx.co.id. Data analysis to test hypotheses using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study found that all independent variables CAR, NIM, and LDR simultaneously affect the dependent variable, namely Profitability (ROA), while partially only the independent NIM variables that have a significant influence on Profitability (ROA).
