Abstract
Power is the main parameter from any electronic devices, one of main problem on telecommunication industry is power usage on cooling system of all device installed on indoor site type (shelter type). In this research, an efficiency analysis on an electrical system is in telecommunication equipment on one of the largest operators in Indonesia for increasing efficiency power in the cooling system, so the device temperature is maintained at the recommended temperature and keep the power effectivity. In this final project will do a modification on electrical system and analyzing the electrical system of transmission Indosat’s equipment. The analysis used as the object for research is the temperature and power that monitored by a sister power monitoring that has some functions, such as the function of calculating real-time power consumption, monitoring the state of the power system, calculating the electrical statistics used, and others. This system works based on electronic measuring device devices that are attached to each component of the device. The result of test and analysis proves that the implementation of contactor in power system causes the increasing of effectivity of usage of electric power consumption, that is the decrease of electric power consumption from Air-Conditioner due to working system based on certain temperature range, and its usage only work in certain circumstances. Keywords: Power Monitoring System, Power Saving, TDR (Time Delay Relay), Dry- Contactor, Energy Efficiency, Energy saving Daya merupakan parameter yang paling utama bagi benda elektronik manapun, salah satu permasalahan utama dalam dunia industri telekomunikasi adalah penggunaan daya dan sistem pendinginan perangkat pada perangkat yang di letakan pada ruangan tertutup. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisa efisiensi pada sebuah sistem kelistrikan pada perangkat power telekomunikasi untuk melakukan efisiensi terhadap daya yang di pakai pendingan sehingga suhu perangkat tetap terjaga pada suhu yang di anjurkan oleh perangkat yang terpasang serta menjaga agar daya yang digunakan tidak terbuang. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan melakukan sebuah perubahan sistem kelistrikan serta analisa uji pada sistem kelistrikan perangkat transmisi. Aspek yang di analisa adalah temperatur dan daya, yang termonitor oleh power monitoring sisterm, Sistem monitoring tersebut memiliki banyak fitur serta fungsi, seperti fungsi penghitungan konsumsi listrik secara real time, pemantau keadaan power system, penghitungan statistika listrik yang digunakan, dan lainnya. Sistem ini bekerja berdasarkan perangkat perangkat elektronik pengukur yang di pasangkan pada setiap komponen perangkat. Hasil uji dan analisa yang dilakukan membuktikan bahwa implementasi kontaktor pada power sistem menyebabkan meningkatnya efektifitas penggunaan konsumsi daya listrik, yaitu turunnya konsumsi daya listrik dari Air-Conditioner dikarenakan sistem kerjanya berkerja berdasarkan rentang suhu tertentu, dan penggunaannya hanya bekerja di keadaan tertentu.
