Abstract

At unsignalized three arm intersection Raya Serang St and Jungle Boulevard St it is usually get traffic congestion mainly during rush hour. Analyzing study on this case is using Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) 1997 method which will determine the performance of intersection and segment such as velocity, capacity, density of saturation, delay, and queuing opportunities. The data that will be analyzed need to be surveyed first on weekday and weekend. From result of analysis and data processing that had been get, performance of segment at Raya Serang Highway in POS I direction of West – East as well as the opposite way get highest score of density (DS) is in evening 0,450, in POS II West – East as well as the opposite way the highest score of density (DS) is in evening 0,404. At intersection the highest value density (DS) is in evening of 2,39 with queue opportunities are big ( 283 % - 745 %). On the alternative calculation for intersection the value of DS is 0,88 with doing optimal performance prohibiting right turn at major C street and side barriers do not exist.. Keywords : Density of Saturation, Unsignalized Intersection, Raya Serang St, Delay, Alternative Solution Pada simpang tak bersinyal tiga lengan Jalan Raya Serang dan Jalan Jungle Boulevard sering terjadi kemacetan terutama saat jam – jam sibuk. Analisis studi simpang ini menggunakan metode Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) tahun 1997 yang akan menentukan kinerja simpang dan ruas seperti kecepatan, kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, tundaan dan peluang antrian. Data yang akan dianalisis sebelumnya di survey terlebih dahulu pada jam sibuk di hari kerja dan hari libur. Dari hasil analisis dan pengolahan data yang diperoleh, kinerja pada ruas Jalan Raya Serang pada POS I arah Barat – Timur maupun sebaliknya didapatkan nilai Derajat Kejenuhan (DS) tertinggi pada sore hari 0,450, pada POS II arah Barat – Timur maupun sebaliknya didapatkan nilai Derajat Kejenuhan (DS) pada sore hari 0,404. Di simpang didapatkan nilai Derajat Kejenuhan (DS) tertinggi pada sore hari sebesar 2,39 dengan peluang antrian yang besar (283 % - 745 %). Pada perhitungan alternatif untuk simpang didapat nilai DS sebesar 0,88 dengan melakukan optimasi kinerja pelarangan belok kanan pada jalan mayor C dan hambatan samping ditiadakan Kata Kunci : Derajat Kejenuhan, Simpang Tak Bersinyal, Jalan Raya Serang, Tundaan, Solusi Alternatif
