Abstract

Parking gates are important factor to facilitate vehicle safety in supporting the security of buildings that minimize criminal acts in the from of motor vehicle theft. The need for security is the need to protect from unwanted things happen. With the development of technology today, it is possible to create a parking technology in the from of smart parking gates. The porpose of this research is to design and program a system capable of facilitating parking security through smart parking gates. The system is divided into 2 parts, namely parking capacity monitoring system. The system controller and RFID reader to read the RFID/E-KTP card used as a tool for in and out of the prototype. Based on the results of RFID reader testing has a reading limit of 10cm and average time difference when sending data to be monitored to the web for 2.5 seconds. Keywords: RFID, Parkir Place, Microcontroller, Web Monitoring Gerbang parkir merupakan faktor penting untuk memfasilitasi keamanan kendaraan dalam menunjang keamanan pada gedung yang meminimalisir tindak laku kejahatan berupa pencurian kendaraan bermotor. Kebutuhan akan kemanan adalah kebutuhan untuk melindungi dari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan terjadi. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi saat ini, dimungkinkan membuat sebuah teknologi parkir berupa gerbang parkir pintar. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah merancang dan memprogram sebuah sistem yang mampu memfasilitasi keamanan parkir melalui gerbang parkir pintar. Sistem ini dibagi menjadi 2 bagian, yaitu sistem monitoring kapasitas parkir. Sistem ini menggunakan Arduino Mega sebagai pengontrol utama dan RFID Reader untuk membaca kartu RFID/E-KTP yang digunakan sebagai alat untuk masuk dan keluar dari prototipe. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, RFID Reader mempunyai batas pembacaan sejauh 10cm, dan selisih waktu rata-rata saat pengiriman data untuk di monitoring ke web selama 2.5 detik.
