Abstract

According Setiani (2015), the airport as a node of an air transport system is very important as one of the gates of the country from other countries. In addition, the airport is one of the transportation infrastructure that must exist in every country is very instrumental in improving economic growth because every time there is movement of aircraft traffic coming and going to or from an airport both from within and outside the country which means going economic activity. This design is to design the airport building located in Mali, Alor. Maksuda and the purpose of the design of this airport is to get the design of Alor Airport building in accordance with the needs and functions and in accordance with the elements of energy-efficient architecture. The basic concept in designing Mali Alor Airport is Green Architecture. According to Rachmayanti and Roesli (2014), Green Architecture is an architectural or interior building planning approach that seeks to minimize harmful effects on human health and the environment. The principle of the building is able to improve the efficiency of energy, water and materials use and reduce the impact of buildings on health through the layout, construction and maintenance of buildings, which is the life cycle of the building as a whole. On a small scale, the concept of natural architecture usually focuses more on the use of locally available natural ingredients, or the use of natural resources around it. As has been applied to the design of this Airport is the use of wood material that is easily obtainable around Alor. Then making the grating in some parts of the building to optimize the nature and natural lighting. Keywords: Airports, Building and Green Architecture. Menurut Setiani (2015), bandara sebagai suatu simpul dari suatu sistem transportasi udara sangat penting sebagai salah satu pintu gerbang negara dari negara lain. Selain itu juga bandara merupakan salah satu infrastruktur transportasi yang wajib ada di setiap negara ini sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi karena setiap waktu terjadi pergerakan lalu-lintas pesawat yang datang dan pergi ke atau dari sebuah bandar udara baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri yang berarti terjadi aktivitas ekonomi. Perancangan ini adalah mendesain bangunan bandar udara yang berlokasi di Mali, Alor. Maksuda dan tujuan dari perancangan bandar udara ini adalah untuk mendapatkan desain gedung Bandar Udara Alor yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan fungsinya serta sesuai dengan unsur-unsur arsitektur hemat energi. Konsep dasar pada perancangan Bandar Udara Mali Alor ini adalah Arsitektur Hijau (Green Architecture). Menurut Rachmayanti dan Roesli (2014), Green Architecture adalah pendekatan perencanaan arsitektur atau interior bangunan yang berusaha meminimalisasi berbagai pengaruh membahayakan bagi kesehatan manusia maupun lingkungan. Prinsipnya bangunan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pemakaian energi, air dan bahan-bahan serta mereduksi dampak bangunan terhadap kesehatan melalui tata letak, konstruksi dan permeliharaan bangunan, yang merupakan siklus kehidupan bangunan secara menyeluruh. Dalam skala kecil, konsep arsitektur alami biasanya lebih berfokus pada penggunaan bahan–bahan alami yang tersedia secara lokal, ataupun memanfaatkan sumber-sumber alam yang ada di sekelilingnya. Seperti yang telah diterapkan pada desain Bandar Udara ini adalah penggunaan material kayu yang dengan mudah didapatkan di sekitar Alor. Kemudian pembuatan kisi-kisi dibeberapa bagian bangunan agar mengoptimalkan penghawaan dan pencahayaan alami. Kata Kunci : Bandar Udara, Bangunan dan Arsitektur Hijau
